I have about a dozen vintage figures, ungraded, that are in pretty good condition. None of them are stand-out pieces,ie, no double telescopes or rare variants. I was offered about 5k for the lot, just from the pics. Another fella offered me 3k. The auction house said I should insure them for 10k, for mailing purposes.
Should I piece them out on Ebay? 3k seems really low for the comparable sells i’ve seen. 10k seems closer to the mark.
Here’s a sample: there are 15 total, the Jawa being the worst shape. Leia has the most warping, but the rest are pretty decent.

I suggest it would be worth your time and money to get them graded.

I agree, as long as your not in a hurry to sell. Grading will net you the most profit. If you're in a hurry look at completed auctions on ebay and that will give you a rough estimate of what they are worth. Then you could sell them on Ebay, or here in the classified section. It's a great resource with no fees.

eBay reaches more buyers than anywhere else... their fees suck but they can't be beat. I love this forum but nothing sells better than eBay.

if all of these MOCs are in similar condition I don't know if it's worth getting them graded as they would avg in the 60 range for those cards

Sticker residue in the upper left corner. Torn area to the right and below the "S" in "Wars". Maybe not a 60, but not great either.

I think they are nice but a tad tired looking or have flaws for grading. I find sometimes a 65 or 70 is detrimental to buyer appeal, as some see this as low, whereas ungraded is always subjective and might work in your favour.

The Obi Wan, Leia and Power Droid look great. I wouldn't worry about warping - in an acrylic case the warping will sort itself out. Might be worth popping these into acrylic first to show them off.

I'd say on average about £500-£800 each. Or yes, about 5k USD in total.

I'd be really interested in the Obi Wan actually, as it's the only 12-back I need to complete my 12-back run! Let me know if you fancy selling that one.

Propstore vintage toy auction I don’t know what they’re consigning terms are but grading is the way to go then selling. There’s also online estimates for what they’re worth grading wise/per grade. Which if you do go the eBay route is a solid way to estimate.

Heard a good one today about writing but definitely can cross over to other things: People will tell you about a problem and they’re always right. They’re solution to the problem is always wrong. That being said graded eBay with reserves for the WIN 🏆

just stay away from FB groups. the blood in the water (your item) leads to the feeding frenzy which leads to harassment and comments. No price you post high or low is good enough for anyone. You could post on FB marketplace with offers. that may be a little bit more organized but always do your homework first
good luck
