First up is a diorama that is loosely based on my favorite scenes from the new trilogy. Kylo Ren's Mustafar attack. Obviously this is just my own fan fiction scene but this diorama is generic enough to accommodate different figures to suit imagination

Different colored backgrounds and lighting conditions really can make this particular diorama feel very different I think.

The tiny fires are just cheap dollar store tea lights. I drilled holes the same diameter as the tea lights into the foam base and hot glued them into position. I used a hot glue gun to enhance the little flames, then dry brushed the flames with yellow, orange and red craft paints.

The sun effect is achieved by placing a flashlight behind the construction paper

The foggy tree shadow effect was achieved by placing my flat screen tv onto blue screen from across the room which creates a cool looking effect on the construction paper background

This next one is loosely based upon the Mustafar final battle. Here are a few images both in regular lighting and with lights of to feature the glowing lava
The diorama is constructed from foam, two strings of craft store LED lights, glue gun and paints. The two beacons were just Elmer's glue caps with furniture feet on top

The battery packs are buried into the base of the diorama and can be easily accessed.

Both of these are really cool. The lights really make it pop.
