Hot Toys Facebook account have posted the images for this release.

I would imagine the secondary market prices for the Rogue One versions will fall quite a bit now :)

So I'm a little confused. How is a Death Trooper from the Mandalorian any different than the one from Rogue One?

Exact same figure as the Rogue One MMS 398 minus long rifle. Good opportunity for collectors who missed/skipped the initial release. For my part, another pass as i have the first three offered by Hot Toys. Second pass in a row following the incinerator. Eagerly waiting for Hot Toys to be Hot again with brand new figures instead of their recent run of repaints/repacks across licences.

LOL, I just received the RO Death Trooper a few days ago. I didn't pay eBay prices thankfully, but still can't help but see the humor in it. Oh well. :sneaky:

I think this will be a great pickup for army builders, or people who missed the initial Death Trooper release. I may even pick one up to go with the RO version to flank Krennic.

I wish they'd do some of the main characters from the series instead - Cara Dune, Moff Gideon, and Nick Nolte's ugnaught. I know those would be more expensive to produce, but I think they'd all sell just as well given the show's popularity. Maybe once season 2 hits we might get one or more of those characters.

I'm getting the Beskar Mandalorian in the hopes that Hot Toys release a Cara Dune to pair with it. If they don't I'll most likely try to sell it, and just stick with the first version.

I'd be very tempted by a Kuiil, but I don't think it very likely.

... sorry. Just realised that had nothing to do with this thread.

Toys Buying Agent got their "later batch" in. My 4th Death Trooper is on its way

Got my invoice for a 2nd Trooper too from them.

I opted for free shipping so he's going to send it after Christmas because of the issues involved with delays and missing parcels recently caused by lockdown and Christmas slowdown.

First received two invoices from him and had to email back to tell him one belonged to another customer. Didn't want to make the situation even more confusing asking for a delayed shipment for mine. Even though that's a €30 extra, i can live with that knowing it's still €70 cheaper than a local option.

I agree regards to the price compared to local sellers.

This will be my 2nd Mando DT and i reckon i have saved nearly £150 by buying from Toybuyingagent.

Original invoice had shipping, which was approx £25 and i did seriously think about paying it rather than go with the free standard shipping, especially as he had commented about recent issues.

I am in no rush, had no issues previously with him and my orders so was happy to wait till January and have free shipping.

I missed out first time around so very happy that Hot Toys are cash grabbing this figure from a purely selfish point of view.

My sentiments exactly! Missed out the first time so happy to snag one this time around. Gonna look great next my Director Krennic!

Hard to tell if it's that popular or if Hot Toys short produced it as it's already the 4th variant of that trooper.

Probably a relatively small run just to satisfy people wanting one or two for their Krennic and/or Mandalorian display.

I had thought about getting a few more, but I already have six from Rogue One so I had to restrain myself.

They didn’t do much in The Mandalorian and I’d rather display Gideon with Dark Troopers.

My waitlist spot opened up, however it said I could only purchase 1, but they did a courtesy purchase so I could grab this waitlisted one too.
Sweet!

For those who don't want to pay aftermarket prices for the Standard Death Trooper with the DLT-19D long rifle, you can pick up this version of the 1/6th scale DLT-19 here:

Looks basically the same with a dry brush!

1. Aftermarket DLT-19D no dry brush
2. Aftermarket DLY-19D with dry brush
3. Original Hot Toys DLT-19D

Looks good, bit of a weathering tip for you. Real MG34s stocks are made from black or brown bakelite on early production MGs or later wood left bare or painted black. Still looking good though, its not a knock at all so I hope you don't see it as such.

Appreciate the tip, now I can look at some reference pics of MG34s...always nice to know the real-life rifles/weapons that these were referenced from.
This was my reference pic for weathering...

Better look at finished product in better lighting...

Anyone need this guy? I'm trimming my collection and have a brand new one, never removed from the plastic tray. $330 CAD shipped within Canada, $350 shipped within the US.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement for the "holster"? I got a specialist second hand and it's broken.
