You'll be helping people at the start of the big lines for the big signing guests. I'll be sending detailed info next week.rizzo3232 said:Got a great schedule. But can anyone answer this what does a Line Tender do?
Anne can correct or addend this, but my understanding (as stated above) is that crowd control can wear costumes. But if you are an Escort a costume is going to get in the way of us performing our duties. We are supposed to be in volunteer shirts for that.anothdorf said:I got my preferred times. Yay!
I have a question about wearing costumes. If this is something that's going to be covered in the information sent at a later date, that's fine, no need to answer now.
I will have a half hour between being a target for GenCon's laser tag game...er...volunteering work the laser tag game...and when I start my shift at OfficialPix. I'll be in Scout armor.
I'm assuming it's preferred that an OPX guest escort be in street clothes/volunteer shirt and NOT in costume. Is that correct?
I'm SO looking forward to helping with OPX!
I figured so. No problem.jade5233 said:But if you are an Escort a costume is going to get in the way of us performing our duties. We are supposed to be in volunteer shirts for that.

"Dana I am unaware of any schedule of events that we will be posting. I would just keep checking on the Starwars.com website for updates on events expected at the show. Sorry I can’t be of more assistance." What the heck??!
gee that's a shame since I don't 'seep' my tea... I strain it once and drink it straight and green. I've found nothing beats a good cup of Sensha; that is, Japanese green tea.DarthBreezy said:See, there's the rub - Americans as a whole can't make REAL tea...
1) 'Lipton' or 'Red Rose' is NOT real tea - Typhoo or Tetlies is acceptable.
2) Real tea does not have fru fru flavors - Especially 'Orange spice'
3) Tea is steeped in BOILING water - not just 'hot' for 30 seconds. Microwaves don't cut it either.
4) In the intrest of neatness, I'm afraid I'll only have milky tea in the thermos, but I'll have a supply of sugar packs...
