So its my turn to make a super-articulated Han Solo from The Force Awakens. I have more experience with swapping parts in 6 inch scale, so I've always been a bit hesitant. I do pilot customs in 3.75 inch scale but those are mostly head swaps. I am quite pleased with how it came out.

The base figure I used was Starkiller Base Han. I let the figure sit in hot water before I popped off the arms, head and coat. While still hot, I took a razor blade and carefully sliced off the scarf. When I was finished, I took my dremel and with the lowest setting, filed down the area where the scarf was with my sanding tool.
Next, I took the arms and popped off the gloved hands. I replaced them with hands from The Vintage Collection Han Echo Base figure. They fit but were a tad long so I filed down the pegs just a bit. I took the vest from TFA Han 5POA figure and put it on. I repainted the arms from Starkiller Base Han with Citadel Rhinox Hide, which was a very close match to the vest. I dropped the arms and body in hot water and popped them back in. I swapped the head out with the one from the 5POA, as I thought the other one looked a bit chunky and derpy. The hair/eyebrows were drybrushed with a gray, then white to tone it down. I added in some tacky material to tighten up the head. Lastly I added in a dab of silver on the cylinder parts on the vest. The original blaster fits in the holster, but not in the hands. The blaster from TVC Echo Base Han fits in the hands but not the holster.
Question for anyone who has done this custom - Will arms from an Indiana Jones figure fit, or do they have to be modified? Can it be any Indiana Jones figure or is it a specific one? I thought the Starkiller Base arms would be a good placeholder until I found something else but I think it looks good.
