scarlette is suddenly reminded of all the times she was left out by the mean girls in highschool.
she knew flint was talking to her, but she couldnt understand him. all she could hear were the cruel taunts
of the kids in school(GIN-GER FREC-KLES GIN-GER FREC-KLES!)

showdown at 8th street arcade.

road pig had taken down hundreds maybe thousands in that little converted warehouse in the alley behind 8th street, he couldnt even remember how much money had gone through his hands and no one had stopped him yet.
but now at the back wall of ghosts and barrels or 8th street arcade by those in the know, 9 year old towny bobby barnette felt he was the man for the job and all quarters were on deck.

Inspired by the past n present thread over on hisstank, thought i'd share some pics.

Thanks. Here's one from the same day that shows the troops a little bit better. The POC cobra trooper is one of my favorite modern figures - especially kitted out with Marauder gear. Was really happy with Big Boa as well...

Here's one much older picture (before I got my new camera which I am still learning how to use) with some Shock Troopers in action.

I love these pictures. Now I want to go play with my toys.

couldn't agree more... these pics are great. I really wish I had the time to set up a few dios and take pics..... hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to set something up in my backyard.

quick question.... does anyone here mix and intergrate other characters from non-Joe universe into their dios for an interesting twist? I mean Indiana Jones is an easy one to do but how about other movie/comic book properties like Batman, Superman, Men in Black, Spiderman, Iron Man etc.

Reminds me of a thread on Hisstank.

I include Punisher, Winter Soldier, Agent Venom, and Deadpool.

awesome pics....
where did you get the cool background stuff for the restaurant and stuff like the trash can etc. those look amazing

Thanks.

The background bits are from several places - I'm always on the lookout for more in-scale pieces.

The restaurant and all related food/tables/sun umbrella is the Mighty World Town Café playset. (The pizzeria next door is from the TMNT pop-up pizza playset...) I want to weather/repaint the walls to make it more realistic, but Mighty World stuff is great for background stuff. The trash can and wooden palette are both from Bruder sets. Bruder is 1:16, so you have to be careful with what you buy - most items end up being a bit oversized. The fence in my earlier Big Boa shots is also a Bruder item. The bottle of rum, bag of doritos, and soft pretzel coming out of the trash can are all ebay purchases. If you do a search for 1:18 diorama, you end up finding a lot of interesting stuff... (The rest of the trash is just torn up pieces of paper and flash plastic pieces.) The rope and duffle bag are from buildarama.com - an amazing but pricy site for 1:18 accessories. The green barrel is from marauder inc. and the grey brick walls are from some cheap military figures that were offered at big lots a year or two ago - I am totally drawing a blank on the name of the toyline.

I think that's everything. I'm always scouring stores/online for cool pieces for backgrounds.

my kind of scum those are awsome! they look like the type of goofy dios i do.
