So after 4 years of serious replica collecting and countless sessions convincing my wife that our house would not look like a man cave....she finally agreed to let me display them. I first had a room dedicated to my replicas, but after my youngest daughter was born, I had to give that room up to the baby.... So I had to "blend" the replicas in with the house hahahah. Well after getting only a few replicas vetoed, I can finally share my collection so far. (I will update as new ones get placement around the house)

Pending Star Wars Replicas
Anovos: snow trooper helmet(weathered), kylo ren helmet, Darth Vader Helmet , Phasma helmet
EFX: Legend Biker Scout Helmet, LE Biker Scout Helmet

Starting a new display for my helmets and sideshow stuff. Don't pay attention to the Han Solo in Carbonite because I'm still in the process of finishing that build so the paint looks bad.

You could have at least cleaned up R2 before you brought him in the house. ;) Really nice collection!

Nicely 'blended' - it took me a while to spot any Star Wars stuff at all. How did you get away with that?! Another great room.

Yeah were looking forward to the movies. I am part of the R2 builders club and it took me a couple years to put him together. I wasn't happy with the accuracy of the Sideshow 1:1 so I decided to build a more accurate one so I joined the club and got addicted. Although not much cheaper, I like the fact that we have awesome resources to make them screen accurate. They actually hired 2 of the builders to build the R2 and other assortmechs in the new movies and used the same parts and techniques we use in the club. So i can honestly say building an R2 with the help of the club can be the closest to screen accurate you can get.

Nice collection. I have the opposite deal with my wife. No Star Wars items or prop replicas outside of my office (I was allowed one exception recently).

the R2 is beautiful, fantastic job. That's a dream of mine...one day.

Thanks for posting pics of the tiles. Hopefully that means mine will be arriving soon.

What's the story with the hollow body? Is that part of another collection or do you play?

Thanks for the kind words!

The hollowbody is a replica of John Lennon's Roof Top Epi Casino! I have a small collection of "famous" guitars. I have a "devistator" which is a guitar that The Misfits guitarist plays...kinda looks like a bat. Also a Gibson SG like Angus Young plays. And of course a white American Fender like Hendrix. I played for a long time but they don't get much action these days. I'll pick up an acoustic most of the time.

Really great collection and nicely displayed but lose the plants, I couldn't help but keep looking at them instead of your great pieces.

Awesome. I find that it's not unusual for collectors to have multiple collections. Being a musician myself and a huge Beatles fan, I can appreciate your "other" collection.

Love the setup Gabe. Everything is cleanly and tastefully displayed. Great job blending it with casual home decor (NOT easy to do). Hope your wife is happy with the final result.

Also love the delorean and golden gun (I'm a proud owner also).

Really nice collection! I especially like the way you have the blasters and lightsabers displayed! How did you get that 1:1 R2?! :D

Great collection! And good job getting your wife to allow props in your living room. I would not have such luck with my wife...Jedi mind tricks don't work on her. ;)

Oh and I'm seriously jealous of that 1:1 R2...it's freakin awesome!

thank you! I slipped pieces in slowly, it got to the point where she stopped noticing any new ones hahaha. Yeah that R2 is my pride and joy...or my 3rd child as he's called around the house

Looking forward to your review of the Phasma helmet Gabe. $800 sure seems like a steep price but then again the quality that Anovos has shown lately has been impressive.

Funny thing is that I was about to return it because she wasn't as cool of a character in TFA but I hope she has a bigger role in ep 8. But I'm actually very excited about the next review video which will probably be the MR Bobafett helmet and rifle. I'm excited because I've been in contact with Lee Malone, who did the original paint scheme for both for MR, and hopefully I'll share some cool stories behind them !

Thank you for taking time to answer my question.

I just wanted to let you know that I was inspired to start collecting props/replicas after seeing how you meticulously displayed all your collection without having to sacrifice the interior ambiance. I was truly inspired by how you seemingly made all your SW collection meld well into the surroundings so elegantly without looking too "dorky!"

May I ask where you got the cabinet that keeps all your helmets? Also, may I ask if the cabinet could hold eFX Darth Vader ANH Limited/Legend edition helmet with eFX stand? I am trying to find a modern looking cabinet that could hold all my Darth Vader helmets!
