Well these hardly ever show up sealed, but I've got other things I have to pay for so.... $1000(no paypal) will get you your own MISB Jedi Master. This is the 1999 Pepsi Version and comes with the plastic base and gold nameplate in original sealed shipping box. This is NOT the more common Blockbuster one. PM me if seriously interested, pictures available. Shipping will be pricey (at least $100 within the US) so pickup from NE Ohio would be better, and buyer can pay at that time if needed.

I don't think you are going to get the price you want, as the going rate is less than half of what you are asking. Just thought you would like to know.

Thanx for the info, but that's for one that has been removed from the box and has at least 1 mark to the base. It's black and very hard to keep clean. Show me one that's still sealed at less than half of my price.

Actually, look at the "Completed Listings" section of eBay. You will see that many have sold in the $300-500 range.

I've actually been actively hunting one of these the last few weeks and I have never even seen one of these hit the $500 mark in the last few months. Highest one I saw was the first week they came out and it was for $800

The 1999 Pepsi Version......for a grand?

Er, good luck with that.
OH!
This is for the 1999 Episode 1 one? My bad, I thought this was for the E3 Pepsi one by GG....in that case I'd say even lower....

Good luck.......

But were they still sealed?
The defense rests.....

I understand that they're lower in price without a box, but usually the base is scratched, chipped or marked.

I own one of these which I bought sealed from a manager for just $600.00 back in the day when they were at Walmart. I'm assuming you have the one on the big Pepsi base? The Yoda itself and the one offered as a contest at Blockbuster stores are just the same. Only the plastic Pepsi base (yours) is different because the Blockbuster one did not have it.

You are free to ask whatever you want for it. It is yours and as so you set the price but, honestly, the fact the Yoda is sealed in a blind box and has no minor scratches to the base does not justify paying $500.00-$600.00 more for it, in my opinion.

The actual rate for the last few months has been around $400.00, if I'm correct.

Is this the one from last summer that had Yoda in an action pose with a lightsaber? I have one of the Blockbuster Yodas from Ep I and only paid $200. I have to agree, I'd have a hard time paying $1000. The MISB thing would only matter to me if I intended to keep it that way. However, I think most people want to display something like that.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything, just my $0.02.

Who cares if they were still sealed? I did not even pay attention to whether or not they were because any collector here will tell you it doesn't matter if it's sealed, just as long as it's mint. Being sealed will make it worth maybe a LITTLE bit more.

Just so you know, most of the people here on RS are pretty savvy collectors, so you are not fooling anyone when you pop in with a collectible that is overpriced. Most folks here know the going rates, and if they don't, they know exactly where to find them.

If this is the Episode 1 version, it's worth even less because that version of Yoda was horrendous.

You should really take this to eBay with the whole "sealed" argument and hopefully a sucker will buy it for $1000. It definitely will not sell for that much around here.

The Prosecution rests...

I actually like LINQ0311's personality. LOL. As for this piece, I sold one brand new in the box factory sealed about 2 weeks ago to one of my local customers for about $550.00.
And, I am a dealer. If you get a $1000.00 for it, I would be shocked. But, crazier things have happened. Good luck selling it.

Ooh, personal attacks!
The sure sign of an argument lost. You should sell it and buy yourself some common sense. Think I am wrong? Have you sold it yet? Didn't think so.

And I am not the one trying to fool anyone here, you are. Just look at your price. It's offensive that you would actually expect another fellow Scummer to pay that much.

BTW, you should listen to Mike in the post above mine. He owns Razor's Edge Collectibles, and he is the BEST online dealer. He also knows the market for this stuff better than anyone. I would follow his advice if I were you.

Well, it is his item and it's not longer available. You never know, some Yoda fan may think it's worth $1000.

Unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
