Here's a look at the new Resistance figure First Order Stormtrooper Officer in snazzy Gold and black, who'll be purchasing this figure?

Won't be getting this, but may consider picking up a Phasma to paint into this color scheme.

I really like the colors but I'm not thrilled with the sculpt (which is more due to the design) so I probably won't get this one. But yeah I agree it would be a nice custom to do with a better-sculpted figure as a base. I'd probably use one of the FO troopers with the pauldron.

Even if the armor is possibly blaster resistant, it's likely susceptible to some kind of magnetic resonance weapon.

Yes, although I probably doubt whoever name this character is a Don Coscarelli fan.

Have 0 interest in this - don't like the design at all. Don't remember this being in the film, either - but that's never stopped Hasbro before.

However, this figure does remind me slightly of the Gold Cylon from Battlestar Galactica:

Edit - I re-read the OP, and realized this is from the forthcoming Resistance cartoon - so that's why it wasn't in the films - LOL.
