Thank you so much..

Anne, this is a good question. Will we be able to attend the opening night ceremonies?JediMasterRainer said:Anne, now that the Opening Ceremonies time has been announced for 7:30 PM on Friday, May 25, is there any chance that those of us volunteering for the last shift on Friday (3:30-7:30) will still be able to attend the ceremonies in Hall K??
I'm with youwvstarwarsfan said:I emailed Anne yesterday about this subject. If they was gonna have seats reserved for volunteers. Her reply was:
" I
wouldn't count on seats being held, but the room is going to be
HUGE. I'll also be rushing to get the ceremonies."
So she is in the same situation as we are. I say at 7:30 we all line up behind Anne and charge the Hall K doors like a herd of rabid ants!!!![]()
Does the guest assignment shift around? I should say will we get a different guest each shift?Anne said:Some will work that way, some won't. I'll explain all next week when you get your instructions via email.
Some of you will stay with the same guest for two shifts, some won't. Depended on what my other volunteers needs where. Plus the less shifting around the better for everyone. Please do not get upset if you see someone "hogging" a special guest. The way I assigned everyone was for the best benefit of the program as a whole.navarre1095 said:I should say will we get a different guest each shift?
same here. well it'd be a 4th or 5th shift for me, but still.navarre1095 said:I am so stoked! I wish GenCon would post a schedule so I could plan a possible 3rd or 4th shift.
No, personalization is free.DarthVa101 said:In order to have them personalized, will we still have to purchase an autograph ticket ?
Anytime during exhibitor hours is fine. Just come to HQ in the auto hall.spade said:is a time for those of us arriving on Thursday to exchange our badges and get our shirts
if you can exchange your badges with me on Wednesday, yes, otherwise you can't get in the hall early enough.MaulMaus said:any/all of us that can get our badges in time (*grumbles*) are welcome to attend the orientation?
The way I understand it is: It is at the end of our LAST shift that we get the "perks." Otherwise there might be one or two that would just say "I got my free stuff why should I come back for my other shifts."JediFrances said:Here's a question that maybe someone can clear up. If I work on four different days, do I get my free pics after each shift that day or do I have to wait until the last day I work to pick up all of them? It'd be nice to get them after each shift then maybe I can go and get them personalized. Anne, can you shed some light on this for me? Sorry if the answer is on here someplace but I just can't seem to locate it. Thank you, again.
I don't mean picking up all of my free stuff after the first shift...I just mean the photos. If I work 5 hours the first day, do I get my 5 pics after that shift? I'm not saying get all 17 pictures that first day and my pin and my 4 11x14s. Just the pics I worked for that day. I'm no cheater! I just think if I had to wait until Monday when the place closes, what am I gonna do with 17 photos that aren't signed? I can see having to wait for the pin and the fancy bigger photos.Geo_Nauj said:The way I understand it is: It is at the end of our LAST shift that we get the "perks."
