IDK, it's seemingly identical look to the one that comes with the Ghost. Although with it coming on an Ahsoka card people don't have to feel bad about opening the Rebels Mural card. Sans head sculpt of course, which has the buzz cut versus parted hair. I'm going to wait and see what it actually looks like before committing to saying I'll get it, because the might actually go with the hologram look for TVC to be different than TBS. 😁

I mean in all honesty I probably will get it regardless, but to me it would make more sense to make the outfit he actually appeared in Ahsoka rather than a Rebels outfit seen in holo form. Especially since a version is going with the Ghost, and the potential Zeb & Ezra 2pk. Even though they are essentially different, just feels like too much Ezra too close together if so because the space Jesus outfit has also got to be coming pretty soon.

However, seeing that this figure is coming sooner than I had anticipated I might just sell the Mural Card versions after all. Will be interesting to see it play out for the whole crew, particularly Sabine who has the most changes.

Also, in regard to the 2pks I would think that a Chopper (Imperial repaint) w/Ezra (Stomtrooper disguise) could be in order.

I may or may not get him. Need to see actual pictures first. Hope they have the right height for him. The BS one is too tall.

Basically a scaled down version of the Black Series one, which was expected to be honest.

It's more Rebels than Ahsoka, but he's already covered with the Ghost. So, yeah.

I wonder if the card art will use the hologram image.

so figure MAY NOT be excl to haslab afterall, just cardback, helmet and cat, if fig IS NOT holographic

That's exactly what I expect. Same as Haslab sans mural exclusive accessories.

Kinda curious that during the campaign they said "these late season 4/mural looks will be exclusive to the haslab". Which most of us took to mean we'd see season 1and 2 Ezra. Which is what they're doing with Kanan.

Ultimately I don't *really* care - at most it's $$ I don't need to spend. But if that's the case it's just one less exciting take away from the weekend reveals.

Didn't someone (Patrick?) heavily imply that the Ghost figures in those costumes would not be released elsewhere? Depending on wording, this seems like it may be splitting hairs releasing Ezra like this. I'd have to go back and look at exactly what was said though.

Yeah, the talk at the time was so influenced by different interpretations of what, or how, Hasbro double-talked and worded what was actually exclusive to haslab. 2 people can hear/read the exact same words but have different interpretations. The 2e lading p.o.v;s are now simultaneously correct if 1 uses Kanan as their example (figure is excl) while the other side is correct when using Ezra as their example (card/accessories are excl.).

Which is exactly what I expected despite all the naysaying, Hasbro's not about to let a new mold go to waste. We've already seen evidence of that with several other tooling reuse. I just didn't think they would happen so soon is all.

Yeah I'd have thought S1 Ezra would be a better choice to go along with both Kanan and Zeb, so them going with the "Ahsoka" version seems to indicate they wanted a quick turnaround on those molds use versus having to get a new one out for Ezra. Seems the wait for it will be a while as they technically couldn't use any of the S4 tooling.

And I still feel they should have just stuck with a "Rebels" release for it because it will now mean two versions of Ezra on an Ahsoka card yet he never actually appeared in that outfit in Ahsoka, it was a hologram...
As is, these characters are all mixed around from their respective sources and will end up with incomplete looks other than the Mural cards. It also makes me wonder how the other three will be released and what specific outfit, sound like it could get complicated quite quickly.

So basically if you don't have the Haslab you will have S3/S4 Ezra and Sabine but never be able to get the appropriate Zeb, Hera or Kanan to go with them.

Great work Hasbro

I’m fine with getting the Ahsoka version. It’s pretty close to the upcoming release with The Ghost minus some of the deco and upper chest piece. Gives me an excuse to keep that Ezra carded.

I wouldn't say never, just probably take longer than some of us might like. Which at this point has already been too long dare I say but at least we finally getting somewhere with these characters!

This "Ahsoka" version of Ezra, is basically his Rebels S4 look, in a live-action interpretation, since he would have recorded that holo message during the Rebels era. Actually this is just Hasbro's way of getting his Rebels S4 look out there in the basic line, by disguising it as an "Ahsoka" release.

In any case, the version of Ezra that I really want is his Peridea nomad look from the end of Ahsoka.

IKR, like there wasn't one image of Zeb all alone to use. I'm sure Dave has them all on his hard drive.

Looks too similar to the HasLab one, wish they would have opted to give one of them the Buzz cut he has in S4. Which the HasLab version is supposed to be... I'll probably get it but it's not high on my list, custom fodder mostly.

side by side pics of tvc#319 and Ghost pack-in respectively Slight retool of torso w/ altered paint aps. Hair, may be different, not sure though

He's fine. Pretty much just like the Ghost version, so he's the least exciting of the reveals today. I do appreciate Hasbro added the necessary details to make it more accurate to how he appeared in Ahsoka.

I'm not sure this one is different enough for me from the Ghost version.

It's a cool idea to pack him in a case with Kanan but... it's the wrong version of this character 😭

Maybe we'll get Season 1 eventually, but for now I see no reason to get this. Already have 2 Ghosts on the way.

It's just a bizarre choice period. I get why they wanted to reuse this mold in order for a ROI, but it's totally not accurate to his Ahsoka hologram appearance. For starters the head sculpt it wrong for both this and the Ghost figure because the source is Rebels S4 with buzz cut, yet they gave him parted hair for some reason.

I also understand that it was this figure that probably came first with the HasLab one being reuse, but the obviously planned it ahead of time or why even bother with a look seen in "hologram" but not make it an actual hologram? I'd wager most people were after his Peridea look anyway in terms of an "Ahsoka release".

Since TBS got him first I think this was their quick way to get an AHSOKA-branded Ezra out into the world to promote the new series. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'll take a space hobo Ezra, please, a vital character to any Peridia shelf setup that will be underway with Sabine + Enoch and the Night Troopers.
