Elite Praetorian Guard

I just found two on Ebay for $18.00 plus $4.45 shipping. So I scooped them up.

Question: does anyone know of the 3.75 force link guard’s heads and weapons are interchangeable with the articulated versions?

Weapons are standard, the heads of the Force Link figs usually need some sorta minute filler to sit snugly onto the neck posts of the TVCs.

Yeah, he weapons most certainly are interchangeable/compatible. The heads on the other hand not so much without being modified slightly. And I thought the Praetorian Guards had an earlier version of the barbel neck joint, or is that only on the Jet Trooper?

Elite P's Force Link figures have standard ball neck posts, but they are slightly wider than the TVC figures with the same style neck posts.

I just use pieces of softer and rubbery plastic trim to wedge inside the socket to secure the head in place.

What I have done in the past is coat the neck post ball in a layer of superglue and let dry sufficiently and that usually tightens the gap more permanently.

I just happen to have some pics from 2019 when I was helping a friend with modding the EPG. Here is a shot showing the Force Link ball post (left) & the BS VC ball post (right)…

To make the ball posts bigger I use Blufixx which is a resin that hardens when under UV light. It applies from a fine point tip in the consistency of gel & then dries in seconds when hitting it with the UV light that is included.

When I did the EPG I was also doing a Bespin Luke. This is what it looks like applied. I made it more of a mushroom shape on this one because the socket in the head was shallow.

As for the finished customs… I remember there was a long delay with one that came in the 2 pack so I had one waiting considerably longer to receive his head…

It showed up eventually. I call this one Snoke’s Jokes…

I had built a small army of them cause they were so cheap and abundant at the time.
