EFX is excited to announce that the regular and signature editions of the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Snowspeeder Crew Gift Replica will be available on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. eastern time. The signature edition will feature a numbered plaque signed by Joe Johnston and will be limited to 200.​

We are currently finalizing production of the replicas and they are anticipated to ship in Q4, 2024.

Kinda cool, but comparing the prototype to a real crew gift I found via quick google searching, I wish this was something Regal Robot was making instead. The smeared, blurry sort of weathering ruins it for me.

Easy pass. It's too niche an item and expensive for what it is IMHO. It's not a "Must Have" like the Vader reveal helmet

400 bucks for a less than 6-inch Snowspeeder is steep! That's shorter than a Black Series action figure. Yeeshhh

It looked off from the start. I imagine they are trying to cash in on the "outer rim" offers. This is a quick cash grab. I don't collect EFX so easy pass. I'll build a model version and be happy with that.

This is most likely made from the same model that was owned by Carrie Fisher. That model was already used by Master Replicas as the crashed Snowspeeder on the AT-AT Signature Edition. It is almost the same size as the old Action Fleet toy:

If the EFX one looked like this, I would be more inclined to get it. But theirs just looks… cheap compared to that one.

Maybe that’s why they dropped the edition size? They were probably expecting it to be an instant sellout like the Darksaber SE’s.

That’s another reason why I’m passing on this. The Kenobi saber, SE or not, is priority. I’m waiting for full and complete details on the AT-ST before deciding on that.

There has been a lot of people saying they are reserving their money for that kenobi hilt, i am excited for it as well!

EFX direct was the only option for the SEs according to the website and the announcement. LEs went out third party only. Just like the Dark Saber SEs were EFX direct only.

They have reduced editions before. 200 was testing the waters so to speak. This was no SE dark saber
