150% im going for this, just would like to see more pics of how they are going to stand it up like the photos, i do like how its going vertical
I'm in. It's going to cost an arm and a leg to get this to the UK with shipping, customs duty and 20% VAT but it is a true grail item for me.

I think the bottom will rest on the red circled lower lip and then I can imagine clear platform discs for the other 2 parts on a pole that pieces together in the middle? That’s how I see it. If you just want it assembled together then the center platform discs are just removed. While this is a demo mock up…..the pic with the scratch on the front of the helmet and un finished fiberglass or really poor flocking on the inside of the dome I “hope” lol…… is not the finished product. I would have like to seen a little red diffused led glow in reveal portion the behind eyepieces….but hey that’s me. I have not decided but I think this is an easy sell out. 3K is harsh. Extra sand and no lube. GC

I feel this. I like Sideshows point system for instance which has saved me some serious coin over the years but EFX has been exclusively releasing EFX only merch lately. At least they have an installment plan affiliate this go around Woody. It’s not much but that is a little different
Hopefully the installment plan will be available for international customers

Luckily for me being in NY I won't have to pay taxes for this. I'm sure shipping won't be cheap. I didn't have to pay tariff fees on the recent autographed Mando Helmet so I'm assuming it's either already put in the price, they're absorbing it or found some way around having to charge American customers.
It says in the email announcement that the paint scheme and base will have minor adjustments. So I assume that will be addressed. It's in bold, red text in the announcement.

This is a grail for me as well, but I don’t know if I can swing it yet. I have two preorder deposits from JazzInc Dioramas due on the same day that this goes up for preorder. And both orders are waitlist conversions, so I can’t just pass on them. So that’s about $2k for the three of those being dropped in one day.
We’ll see what I can figure out, but I might have to make due with my PCR helmet for the time being.

If I can put my oar in, that paint detail is accurate to the screen prop, though it doesn't connect that way on any of the other screen helmets.

I am SO stoked for this!!! I haven’t been this excited for a Star Wars prop replica since Master Replicas released the Revenge of the Sith Vader helmet! I have wanted a replica of the ROTJ helmet ever since I saw it in the movie back in ‘83! I’m so lucky that I can afford to get this. It would’ve been so depressing if I couldn’t. This will be the finest edition to my collection, second only to my MR AT-AT. 
Man, the reveal saber is coming too! My poor wallet.

Yep. And I think on the same day as the helmet.
So that’s gonna be about $2k dropped in one day for those two preorders. The lightsaber will be $1299. That pretty much kills the reveal helmet for me, which really sucks as it’s a grail. Thanks EFX for spacing these out.Taking the P by putting them up at the same time with next to no notice, the cost of the NRD and in the run up to Christmas. Show no respect to the fan base IMHO
The lightsaber, whilst very cool, is a gimmick as non of the movie props for Vader's lightsabers did this. I'm more interested in having replicas with lineage and as accurate as possible to the props that were used on screen.
If this the lightsaber had been put up for PO in q1 2026 I might have gone for it but will pass on it now. I'm more than happy with my Roman Props static ANH V1 and plan to get the V2 at some point.

Agreed. It does show no respect to fan base when they drop multiple preorders on the same day. And at this time of year as you mentioned. That’s a good way to alienate fans.
If they offered payment plans like Regal Robot and JazzInc, it wouldn’t be as bad. Yeah, they added Affirm as an option for this. But that won’t work for everyone as some people may not even qualify for that, or get enough credit to cover just the NRD.
I do have the PCR helmet and Roman’s ANH V1 hilt, so I do have some Vader items in the collection. I still want to try to get at least the Reveal helmet, as it is a grail. Even though it’s soooooo much money. I don’t have the Luke reveal lightsaber, so it would be cool to have Vaders.
But because these are being dropped on the same day, I, and I’m sure other fans as well, are being put in a position of having to choose between the two. Which shouldn’t be a thing.
Has it been officially confirmed that both the saber and helmet are being released at the same time?
Some pictures that were not yet posted here. It will be ordered by a friend for me since I do not own a CC and eFX does still not accept PayPal, but I already sent him the NRD for the helmet and the lightsaber

I’ve been thinking this over. As much as I would love to have this, I just can’t do it. $3k is a lot of money to spend on a helmet. Plus the cost of an acrylic cover. I have preorders with JazzInc I have to take care of anyway. So I’m gonna sit this one out. And most likely pass on the reveal saber too. Having a Vader helmet - even though it’s the PCR release, and a ANH hilt already in the collection, makes it a little easier to swallow.
The paint scheme is odd. Was the original/screen used ROTJ helmet really different colors on each side of the mask? If so, why?

Yes. It’s because the helmet wasn’t being captured right when being filmed. All the detail was being lost with it being all black. At least that’s my understanding.The paint scheme is odd. Was the original/screen used ROTJ helmet really different colors on each side of the mask? If so, why?
I am interested in getting one of these, but after seeing the video the dome issue is putting me off somewhat. The dome just doesn't look big enough for the face mask and I am not sure if it was just a placement problem in the video or something else. I have both the eFX Legend Vader and the CFO raw cast, so if the dome is too small I could put the CFO dome on there. But for this price point should we really have to be doing things like that?

If Gabe could get a good photo of his eFX Legend helmet and the ROTJ Reveal helmet (assembled) side by side together from 6' away and zoomed in, that would help show if there are any issues.

This is fascinating to me cause I have the book “From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives” and it has a close up photo of the reveal helmet and I swear it’s all one color. Even in promo pics, the mask and helmet look black.
