The Ewok Hunt mode was actually active for a few weeks. Not sure if it's currently online again, I haven't played in a few weeks, but I think I read that they were talking about making it permanently available at some point. It is actually a lot of fun! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It looks fun, but buddy kind of fun. I feel like it'd be hard with everyone just going solo!

I havnt played since last week, but I'm into the Starfighter matches lately. I just wish they had more maps!

Yeah, it's been a while for me too. I got hooked on Battlefield 4 again. I used to play on PC, but recently took it up on the Xbox and had to start all over again.

I have Battlefield 1 but have only played the campaign, do you know if that's any fun online?

I just find modern war games bland and I'm really into history, it's either gotta be Star Wars or WWI/2 for me to be into a shooter!

Oh, heck yeah! Battlefield I is awesome online! If you are a history buff, you will dig it. Lots of actual battles, locations, like Verdun, the Somme, Amiens, Gallipoli, etc. If you've only played the campaign, you are really missing out. It's probably my favorite of the Battlefied series so far.

Still playing Battlefront II with a little Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on the side; and the Dark Souls Re-Master standing by. That'll do me until Red Dead Redemption II and Fallout 76 come along. But as for Battlefront II, I'm a big fan of the design of the Imperial Rocket Trooper. Reminds me a lot of EVO and Jumptroopers. I wish there was an action figure or something for it. I'm also glad to see Extraction make the jump to Battlefront II. Extremely repetitive for the time being what with just two maps; but I took my Specialist Class which I almost never use from level 40 to like 64 in a relatively short of time. It's stupendously easy to rack up exp. in that mode, especially on the Rebellion side and simply escorting the cargo.

I played for the first time since like April last night. Nice to see it's still Officerfront and Enforcerfront.

Haha. I've played off and on this past week for the first time since taking the summer off from this game. Not a lot has changed and I noticed how Officers still dominate.

Hopefully the Clone Wars DLCs will make it worth playing again. I am honestly really excited for the new heroes, especially Grievous.

I change several times during games depending on what's going on. I usually play specialist, because I love sniping. If I don't get a chat message complaining about snipers, I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. I tend to play Heavy when there are missions with AT-STs. I usually blow up 5-7 of them on the Mos Eisley GA map. It was fun shooting planes out of the sky with the ion missiles for a couple weeks until they nerfed it.

I've played as Grievous enough now to say he's pretty awesome, but could be a bit faster. His walk is to much of a walk- if that makes sense. Those big powerful legs should allow him to move a quicker pace.

I have unlocked three card slots and filled them with cards unlocked to the second tier (green). Problem is so many people are trying to play as Grievous at the moment it can be hard to get your turn.

In other news, Chewbacca is still OP. Even the dreaded commander is no match for Chewbacca.

I still love playing BF2. I don’t play nearly as much (my son hogs my Xbox playing Fortnite & other stuff) but I try to play on the weekends

I haven't played in quite a while, not really since the Solo content first hit. My gaming time is pretty much devoted to RDR2. So did the Clone Wars DLC drop or is it just Greivous?

Cool, definitely need to check it out!
If you've been away from the game for a while the new updates are worth checking out. You can also use all those credits you built up to buy Obi-Wan and Grievous, and choose from the various skins each has. B)

Having said that, the game should still be called OFFICERFront as the Officer Class still owns despite numerous nerfs.

I've been playing this game a lot lately thanks to the addition of Grievous and Obi-Wan. I finally managed to get Grievous to level 26 so I could upgrade my favorite cards to the fourth tier. Haven't played to much as Obi-Wan but still managed to get him to level 16 and will continue to work on him here and there.

But there is so much wrong with this game I want to take some time away from it, if only I didn't like Star Wars so much and had something else to play. LOL

-When I get attacked by a Lightsaber Hero as soon as they start striking me everything locks. I cannot run. I cannot jump. I cannot roll. I cannot trigger any abilities. Yet when I'm playing as a Lightsaber Hero I find whoever I'm attacking can easily do all of these things. If it's a Hero packing a blast like Bossk or Boba Fett they typically just casually dodge to the side while I hack them and headshot me.

-On the topic of Lightsabers, what is the deal with blocking? I was under the impression if your stamina drained down you couldn't block anymore. But all the time I see guys just put a block up and you can't break through it. They just stand there, Lightsaber(s) up, and you can't do anything. How are they bypassing the stamina drain on this? Seems like a glitch people are taking advantage of. I try the same thing and my stamina drains, so I gotta do something else while it regenerates.

-Luke's abilities still need a major buff. I have FORCE PUSH and REPULSE to the fourth tier but lots of time players within the radius, especially other Heroes, are not affected by either. IMO there should be no way to block these. You get Force Pushed, you're flying backwards. End of story.

-Grievous's abilities really suck. The THRUST SURGE takes way to long. When you trigger it and he puts all four Lightsabers out to lunge forward, is enough time for most anyone who knows what's happening and roll off to the side. Grievous lunges forward and with the target having stepped out of the way he does this weird windmill thing that disorients you.

UNRELENTING ADVANCE is to slow as well. Sure you can deflect attacks from directly in front of you and damage players who just stand there, but anything from the side or behind will quickly take care of you as a threat. Whenever I'm playing against Grievous and they trigger this, I simply move off to the side or if I can get behind and unload my weapon. Easy way to take down this guy.

Both of these abilities, even at the fourth tier with high damage, are useless. For Grievous I strictly rely on regular Lightsaber hacking and the CLAW RUSH ability to knock opponents down. I still love playing as Grievous. He's one of my favorite characters from the franchise and his a lot of fun to play as. But yeah, those abilities, just terrible.

-The modes where you have to pick the ion disruptors or rockets to attack a large vehicle need a change. I'm finding that over a year later people have learned the best spots to fire them from. As a result people know where to go to right off the hop to thwart this. I almost never pick these up anymore because I know I'm getting dropped almost immediately when I move into position to fire.

I just finished GA on Naboo as the Clones. We were a strong team throughout but we only got the MTT down to 94. As as soon as we picked up the ion weapons we were getting taken out. So myself, and many other players on the team, simply didn't pick them up. I find this scenario is becoming more common as time goes on.

What should be changed here is how the carrier is marked. Have it so you need to be in extremely close proximity, like close line of sight, to identify who is carrying. That way you might still know the locations where the carrier will be going to, but if there are multiple opponents running around you won't be able to single out the carrier quickly. Or just remove it completely. Have it so a Specialist with the binos need to mark the carrier for the rest of the team or something.

The other thing they could change is range. Have it so you don't need to be so close with the weapon to fire it.

-Heroes vs Villains is so unbalanced. Feast or famine. Either the team you're on slaughters the other team, or you get slaughtered. Not to often is it a back and forth affair down to the final Hero. I thought EA had a system in place to ensure more balanced teams, but it doesn't seem that way.

On top of that HvV is just a mess anyway. When you're the target run away. If you're attacking group up and mash the attack button against the target. Make dumb emotes after every kill. There isn't much strategy, or enjoyment in this mode. I just play it so much to level up heroes.

And that's my rant for now. Stay tuned for more. ;)

I agree with everything you just said.
Good to see you're still around this thread greedo. Are you still playing at all?

I was thinking about it tonight while getting slaughtered in GA. I was trying to figure out how I could dominate in Battlefront but over a year later am still struggling at many aspects of Battlefront II. The conclusion I came to is what I've been saying since the Beta. EA aimed BFII at the above average gamer. You NEED to have an extremely high video game skill set to achieve success in this game.

BF was much simpler. The highly skilled gamers still owned the show of course, but even your average to below average gamers could find success. In BF my thing was always objective. I was great at defending or attacking it. While my K/D wasn't crazy (it was still pretty good, I usually got anywhere from 30-50 kills per match) my objective score was always through the roof and propelled me to the top of the score board many times. If you needed a guy to quickly clear a path to turn on or off uplinks and get out fast, that was me. If you needed someone to hang back and rack up headshot kills left right and center that wasn't me.

That doesn't work in BFII. You need to be highly skilled at every single aspect of the game. Not just one. Otherwise you're nothing more than the sheep for the wolves. I can't count how many matches I've quit halfway through lately, but I'm not going to be a source of points for these guys running around not taking damage and jumping up and down while they shoot.

I miss the simplicity of BF. Sure it lacked content and modes big time, but I liked being able to just casually play and have a good time. Playing BFII is like work. I find I gotta concentrate so hard it's not relaxing. My hope is that EA introduces Galactic Conquest, or even just a Skirmish mode so I can still enjoy all the great content in peace.

Yeah I’m still playing. Mostly when it’s double or 1.5 XP to level up my heroes so I can stop playing HvV forever hahaha

Cool. I haven't been paying attention to my Friends list on PSN to see who's playing what. ;)

I took advantage of the 1.5 XP event currently happening to get Grievous to level 26. I had to play HvV endlessly but it's the best way to leve up Heroes. Even without an XP event you gain quite a few points in that mode.

What do you think the best cards are for Grievous? Since UNRELENTING ADVANCE and THRUST SURGE both suck I don't use any cards related to those abilities. I use the Beating Heart, Sith Trained, and Cyborg Rage. The Sith Trained card is hard on stamina, but I think it makes up for it in damage output.

Despite my complaining, there have been a few bright spots recently. I set a new personal best for kills- 48- a couple weeks ago and last night I beat it with 57. So that's something I guess. :p

So frustrated right now, and a little confused on how things are supposed to work in this game. I can't believe it has been out for over a year and I'm still confused on somethings. Players slaughtering as low level Heroes that don't seem to take damage and regenerate unusually fast, Lightsaber Heroes with Stamina that doesn't seem to run out, Scan Darts and Hardened Infiltration NOT making enemies, Stinger Pistols dealing far to much damage to Heroes, getting killed as Lightsaber Hero but someone who just rolls and shoots continuously, blah the list goes on.

But in other news, doesn't the Dooku Update drop tomorrow?

Count Dooku looks good. It's fun watching him use his lightsaber with such finesse. Of course, I haven't been able to use him yet (aside from offline Arcade) as he's getting snatched up faster than free money; as all Heroes are when launched.

Haha, I know what you mean. It took me what seemed like forever to play as Grievous or Obi-Wan in HvV at first but now they're easier to get. I got Grievous past 25 so I could max out the cards I use. But Obi-Wan is just sitting at 21 as I don't choose to play as him often.

I'm running the update now for Dooku and will try him out in Arcade right away.

Yeah Geonosis is great. It feels like it's right out of the Clone Wars series.

Played a crazy fun round of GA on Endor (Rebels) earlier. The final stage went into OT and seemed to go on forever. We ended up losing after much blood shed. I set a new personal kills record with 61. Lots of players with 30+ or 40+ kills. It was a battle.
