That's actually pretty cool and a big surprise. It's god to see characters from the PT get some obscure releases. I am already down for it.
It looks to be, also, what's going on with those "Jedi" in the bottom next to the phase I clone (green)
Boring unless they make a solar sailer to go with it.
After looking at this enlarged pic, it definately looks to be what it is.
It's actually only one with his right arm up and holding the lightsaber. Looks like Pablo Jill.
Yea, I dunno. In another thread, someone mentioned this could possibly be a Kaminoan (likely Taun We). If you think about it as being from a funny angle, I could see that. At this point, I still think it's more likely an FA-4, but I suppose we will see soon.
The Solar Sailer is coming according to Stan.
I never knew anyone would ever even want this figure. I never once thought, "I'd like to have Dooku's pilot droid figure." That said, I'll be buying it now that it's being made an option. 
This is unexpected, I will probably get it.
The black figure almost looks like a palace Doallyn!? That would be sweet!

I find it extremely odd that Hasbro would put out a figure of a character like this, that virtually no one has truly campaigned for when they vehemently refuse to put out figures like Jocasta Nu that have almost as much devotion as Willrow Hood did.
If this is what that picture turns out to be showing us, I will probably pick this up, I like having those obscure droids to use in dioramas and such, but it definitely strikes me as an odd choice.

The only logical reason for them to release this figure is if they are planning to release Dooku's Solar Sailor vehicle for him to pilot... which IS currently rumored.
Well I read somewhere that there are rumors of the Solar Sailer being made. I think it will be made and this figure is to go with it.

The black figure is a TIE Fighter Pilot.
I'm thinking that "snaky" shape is just a protocol droid photographed from a weird angle.
Interesting and actually cool choice for AOTC.
Can't wait for another figure on the shelf that can do nothing but stand there, and with some of these droids with thin legs, they need a stand for the only purpose they serve...

My immediate thought was BAD too. It's less prominant droids like this that BAD is perfect for.
I would imagine Hasbro wouldn't single card the Solar Sailor pilot over an updated Hammerhead or 2-1B on a vintage card! Right??!
I didn't expect Hasbro to sculpt this FA-4 anytime soon, so he's a very unexpected surprise.
Now I just hope the Solar Sailer rumor turns out to be true. I'd probably display FA-4 driving up it's ramp in my planned secret Geonosis hangar diorama.

He's been in the top ten of my most wanted for years... But I love obscure backgrounders...

I love obscure backgrounders, too. Which is why I'm surprised at myself for not even thinking of him as an option.
I definitely think the point of this release was because of an upcoming Solar Sailor.
Never much interested in this one even though I'm a droid enthusiast, easy pass 4 me.
