Don Post Storm Trooper Helmet 1997

Hello Rebel Scum,

I am new on this Forum but a Star Wars Fan from the beginning. And I have a question about a Helmet I bought here in Holland.
If I am correct its a Don Post Stormtrooper helmets made in Germany (according the markings on the helmet). On the helmet you can read the markings: á la carte. Germany TM & © 1997 Lucasfilms Ltd (see photo)

Does anybody have any more info on this?

I want to know what kind of material its made of. I thing a kind of molded plastic but what kind?
I want to give it a paint job but need to know what kind of paint to use!

Afraid I don't have a clue!



But I do know of one website which gives you a good comparison on the various types of helmets on just about every single Star Wars bucket ever produced, including fan-made, set prop, and licensed helmets for sale. It doesn't give painting advice but it often goes into the materials used to make these things. Could be a good starting point for ya.
