Got two "new" displays from a friend. They were the towers from his entertainment system. This allows me to get busts out of the one case I have and move into 3. So I'll be adding pictures as I get each shelf set up. Still need to get some more risers but here is the pilot shelf so far. More to come this weekend.

Need to hunt down a 1/6 scale droid caller or binoculars for his belt and I'm going to paint his gloves light gray. Still working on modifying the other left arm to hold his helmet but its not working out too well.

Looks great! Love that Koto Obi-Wan! They really have gotten good at human facial likenesses over the past year or so. It's too bad they didn't do the Obi in Clone Armor statue! I bet they could pull that off really well now.

I haven't got the Kotobukiya statue but I know everyone who has it is happy with it so at some point I think I'll have to look into getting that version of Obi Wan..., I've got the mini-bust though & quite like it, I've also got the clone armour mini-bust as well & I quite like that likeness too.

Yeah. The Koto Obi-Wan is a great kit and the likeness I would dare to say is superb. I bought mine a while back after realizing how well rendered the sculpt was. Everything's looking great, disgruntlejawa!

Thanks. I find myself looking at it a few times a day. Got the leg fixed on the one of the displays so I can now get it set up. Look for more pictures in the next few weeks.

What about Porkins??? I went & collected my Porkins mini-bust from the post office on Saturday & he's well worth having in your collection, turned out very nicely I think.

I figured I'd bring my collection thread back from the dead as I'm going finally be getting some IKEA Besta displays. Just need to coordinate with a friend for his help but it will be soon. Other than the pictures on the first page I figured I'd give a little preview of some are artwork that will be added to the X-wing collection.

I do have a display question. For those of you that have the IKEA Besta frames. When stacking frames is the double sided tape necessary if I'm planning on still anchoring each piece to the wall along with using the clamps on the back that connect the pieces. The reason I ask, I live in an apartment and am concerned that if I move in the future and I have to modify my lay out will the double sided tape damage the displays. Any comments or suggestions would be great.

Yes, I did the frames. They started out as cheap silver frames from Michael's. A little gray and red spray paint and some scrap-booking bumps on a glue strip for the rivets. The artwork is done by Joshua Budich, he did the X-Wing Jockeys print released by Acme about 5 years ago. I always liked the print but never got around to picking one up so I commissioned him to do Red Squadron for me. Happy with how they turned out.

Looking forward to the new displays. They will be replacing miss matched old ones and a broken one. I'm also going to limit my collection space to just those new displays that I'm picking up and one Ikea Detolf. Collecting is getting out of hand again. So some stuff will be getting sold off and as I think about acquiring new statues I'll have to think about what its going to replace in the collection. Plan on having one 90" x 50" display of Star Wars and one the same size for comic book related stuff, plus the detolf.

Boba collection has a few new additions. One is the GG Collector's Gallery statue another is the animated bust.
