Superb collection, very impressive display too & I like the way you've laid them out..., also I like the glasses you've used as raisers, never occurred to me to use them & I think that's a great idea..., going to go buy some for my mini-busts now rather than going down the more expensive route of acrylic risers SO thanks for saving me some cash.

I think that's the obvious choice

Great display! I have 4 Detolfs and have to alternate with GG and SSC pieces. Having all GG busts looks great!

I think it'd be a crime to split that lot up, definitely buy a 6th detolf cabinet.

We'll see. My plan is to try to hold out until we know what's going on with my wife's employment search, at which point we'll know if we're staying in Chicago or not, at which point we'll be moving to something bigger. More space, means more Detolfs. Putting everything into storage and moving to London or Rome probably means ditching the PT.

Yeah, I hear you... the only reason my collection looks like it does is because I got in on the ground floor. Going back and putting that together from scratch would be insane. I started the Mini-busts around the time that the Sandtroopers were coming out, so I had some catching up to do there. I'm still missing some of the early EII Clones and armless busts.

I keep hinting about needing more new Star Wars mini-busts on Facebook & Chris said there yesterday that more are on the way, I'm hopeful this means at least 2 for SDCC but I'd be happy with more. lol

Looks great man ! My SW room upstairs looks about the same. LOL. I just bought 60 glasses from Walmart that I use as risers. 7" tall , 4" around. Only 97 cents each ! They work great !

I recently bought several busts to add to my collection and it was quickly apparent that I was running out of cabinet space. I decided I needed to look for risers of some sort, and I thought I found the answer at Michael's. They have square gift boxes made of a very sturdy cardboard that are about 4 inches tall and would easily support the bases of the busts.

Then I saw this thread, and thought that the idea of using glasses was perfect. I bought four at Walmart yesterday, and the glasses as risers look much better than the boxes (although those were not bad). So thank you Kneel_Before_Zod for the great idea!!! Now I just need to go and buy more glasses!

And yeah, the glasses are a great solution. I need to pick up a few more next time I'm out because since these photos I've been going back and picking up some of the ones I was missing, plus I've added new releases. So now not pictured are:

So it's been a few months, but I did manage to get a 7th detolf in there. There's definitely no room for an 8th, so this is it until I buy a place. I counted over the weekend, there are 161 mini-busts in there now if I got it right.

I'm hoping to shoot new photos this weekend, we'll see if I get to it.
