Greetings you traitorous, Rebelscum! Check out the latest from Denuo Novo!

From Denuo Novo:

DENUO NOVO is proud to offer the STAR WARS™ First Order™ Stormtrooper Ready-To-Wear Armor.

The First Order's infantry units wear stark white armor derived from that worn by the Republics Clone Troopers and the Empires Stormtroopers. Members of this new generation of Stormtroopers are trained from birth, growing up with unit designations instead of names and fed a steady diet of First Order propaganda to ensure absolute loyalty.

Body Structure Guide

The Stormtrooper Ready-To-Wear armor is designed for a mesomorph body-type, which is depicted in the following chart of body types below. It may be possible to alter the armor to fit other body types as well, but this would require modifications by the end-user.

• Costume is designed to fit a person that is between 5 ft. 8 in to 6 ft. (1.7 to 1.8 meters) in height, with a mesomorphic body-type (see chart above).
• Body armor is made of UV-protected white ABS plastic.
• This ready-to-wear armor includes 29 pieces listed above.
• This item is expected to be in stock Q1 (January-March) 2023.
• Does not include helmet, gloves or boots

If you have a helmet on back-order, please contact customerservice@denuonovo.com.

I've held an Anovos First Order helmet in my hand, at a 501st booth. That material was so thin and flimsy I was literally stunned, knowing what the company was asking for this. And I could tell from the 501st members at that booth they agreed, without saying it.

If I should pay so much, I'd expect it to be sturdier and not be afraid of it breaking at nothing.

Does anyone have any experience with their products after they merged into Denuo Novo?

Obviously I can't speak for all their products, but we did see a lot of their helmets when we met them at Celebration 22. The ones we saw seemed to be of a good build quality.

Good video, but... if the Denuo Novo helmets esp. are being made by the same place as Anovos I wonder if there will be any differences in product, esp. if Anovos products were also approved by Lucasfilms? For me, I would rather take the time and money and do it the hard way, make it myself. ( I don't have the money.)

It's being mentioned in the video that the helmets are made both in America and China, at least the back-order ones.
I think it's that China version I have held in my hand, which absolutely did not impress me; It looked great, but not at that price tag.
So it is comforting that Mike V mentions they are using a place in Texas (I think) which uses fiberglass. Now that's a whole lot studier, but also heavier, but hey... it's armor!
(For comparison: A full Samurai armor is about 20-30 kgs, that's 44-66 lbs)
