That's my favorite Enterprise design-post some pics when you finish! I would love if they go ahead with the Star Destroyer-was it EFX that had a replica for $7,000.00 (or was it more?) Hopefully De Agostini's 3' Star Destroyer will be around the 1000 range.

I'd be interested to see if DeAgostini added anything to this like they did with the internal bits on their Millennium Falcon release.

I would be in, I had their Millennium Falcon (beautiful model) done by a pro. I will do the same with this one. I assume it would be around 2500 Euro including building, lightning and painting.

Deagostini makes some amazing stuff. I have the 1/2 scale R2D2 and loved every minute of it. It was really fun putting it together and. it looks great.

This would be awesome but i don't think I have the room for a 35" ship unfortunately.

It will be another 1.5 years before this is finished as it’s spaced out by monthly releases of about 5 parts per month by Eaglemoss However this is as far as I am on it so far. 5 more pieces showed up on Monday to include the cobra rear neck and more hull frame pieces as shown. 267702CE-B7B5-47DA-A862-9DBC8CDB5E4A.jpeg

I'm shocked they started with the D and not the iconic original.

I am not because of the MR Release of the original so plenty out there in this size. The only similar size mostly metal replicas was made by Masterpiece Replicas (Not Master Replicas) back in the day and those are hard to find at a reasonable cost. So not surprised they started with the D model.

More pieces 2 more hull sections and the cobra head. Biggest challenge so far is the clear and black out porthole windows as they are tiny and require trimming. GC FBF461E2-CD39-4C3B-B19C-156B74C15415.jpeg947E3A30-D9D1-4520-A144-30E3C14D54F4.jpeg

The upper hull superstructure is almost complete with kit number 4. All the LEDS for the windows in the Cobra head and the Impulse engine are done.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. How difficult of a build are these?

So far it’s going well but I increased my orders to twice a month as I want to get further faster. It‘s a fun kit

It is a good alternative to what Chronicle was going to release. It is a shame they went out of business.

Yep I had my eye on that as well but I am glad I did not preorder it. Right now it’s the only alternative but I am pleased with it so far

Cool currently building the Enterprise D model from Eaglemoss
Congratulations! Seems like a fun build. I love the Galaxy Class. Happy for anyone that's able to put the kit together. I'm sure it'll look amazing on display.

Wish I had the room, but I'm doing my best to stay disciplined.

I don't think I could resist a Sovereign Class, though.

So kit 5 arrived. The upper saucer section superstructure is complete. Some shuttle bay doors were added to the cobra neck and a piece of a hull section was completed. Also two neck sections arrived. Also I received my first major paint flaw of an obivious repair made by the factory with a poor touch up job and two smaller repairs one above and one below the larger touchup. I also see masking lines above and below the repair. IMHO never should have left the factory floor in this condition. A little disappointed to be honest. Email sent to customer support for a replacement.
