Definatly in for this one, as I got the CE Box of the game back then MINUS the figure
My most wanted character finally gets pipelined! Wonder if we get him in his original look, or closer to how he looks in the more recent expansions.
An interesting choice and a surprise TBH, given the reveals of KoTOR last time, I'd have thought they'd delve a little more into that before moving on. But I guess they don't see any other potential from that game.

Don't forget that female Viszla Bounty Hunter. TVC already got her twice, though
Plagueis seems very possible, but I don't see them ever making Talon. That said they did make Aayla Secure and they do have about the same amount of clothing, I just think the way Talon is dressed that's the issue.

if this wasn't a deluxe, it would sell like it's 3.75 counterpart. it still will sale, but at what price point will it actually be..???? this will ptobably be one of the most sought after bs figures for the year and then some...
Truthfully I was never that into Malgus so I have no interest really, especially at almost $30 If i see it for $15 I might get it just to have but at present he's a loner.
I bought a Malgus when he was out for the Vintage Collection but didn't really care for the figure then so going to pass on the larger version as well.
Not sure if I care enough to get him. Especially at the Deluxe price. Need to start being more picky in what I buy.

I dunno. I don’t play the games so I’m sure there’s a connection for those that do, but a lot of these expanded universe characters just don’t feel Star Warsy to me at all. They feel like modern day comic supervillains to me. I can’t see how this would outsell some of the OT characters that still have yet to find their way into TBS.
Malgus to me was basically a Vader rip-off.

malgus sold like hot cakes when it came out on the secondary market. like revan did on the tvc card. you don't have to play the games. you could read the novels. it's still at least a $65 plus resell. then there is the unpunched card as well.

Plagues, Talon and the Tusken who became Sith (in the grey spiky armor) and hung with Talon (name eludes me) would be amazing.

I wonder if we will ever see a Darth Bane, or if Malgus is the closest to him we will ever get.
I think I'd prefer a Bane, if I had to choose between the two.

Hopefully (eventually) we won't have to chose, and have both!
If they do Bane, wonder if they'd base him off of hid brief appearance in TCW.
If they're open to doing other literary characters then I don't see why Bane wouldn't be considered, he'd of course be the standard $28 for such a release and likely have 50% reuse. They could in a pinch get away with using Darth Maul's legs and just tool a new torso, head and arms. The thing is he is rather obscure compared to Mara.
