Jedi Insider has posted a rumor of a Deluxe Dark Trooper arriving next year (2022) for $29.99 MSRP.

If true, it's going to be a bummer army building this guy, especially if this is the only version available. Not that a mainline assortment release would be that much cheaper. I also imagine that "Deluxe" is somewhat of a misnomer here as the size would be the only thing qualifying it for a higher price point and not any additional "accessories". Although, I could go for some sweet attachable rocket flames for the feet.

From the article:

Next year several new Black Series Deluxe figures will be coming, one of which includes a new Dark Trooper. We ASSUME it will be based on the most recent one that appeared in season 2 of the Disney+ The Mandalorian series. Our info only says Dark Trooper which is why we can only assume which version of the Dark Trooper it will be based on. The cost will be $29.99 for it. Of course as always treat this as rumor until Hasbro gets around to officially confirming it.

On Yakface it’s expected to be $31-35. I would prefer $29.99 to be more accurate but with the price increases it seems less likely.

I could see boot jet effects and attachable flames as what makes this deluxe, even though I'd happily take a trimmer version, swappable hands would be nice too

I guess size is it that would let then label it Deluxe. I think a DT would be around the shape of Wrecker.
Flame effects and hopefully a fitting stand to make him fly would be nice too.
What about light up eyes ?

I think light up eyes would be a waste of resources, but I could see a function where the top of the head comes off and you can flip the eyes to red or black for power up or down

I’m not surprised by the deluxe tag and price. I’m still gonna end up with 3 or 4, assuming I ever actually see it for MSRP. I’d gladly get a Wrecker too if Hasbro hadn’t made it so hard over the last 2 years to actually find their products.

Yeah @thenza I'm sure this will be a joy to find once it's actually made. It will join every new figure henceforth in being a deluxe offering.

ive been wanting these guys SO SO SO SO SO badly since the s2 ending of Mando.

i was planning on buying 4-6 originally had they been released at the $19.99/$24.99 price point, but at the 'deluxe' price point, theyll be lucky to see me buy more than two...if i even feel like ponying up the cash for two.UGH

I plan on getting at least 3 of them. They are too cool. I only saw clips on YouTube for the end of season 2. Really love the look of these guy.
