Dark Rey Mini Bust

Looks cool to me! My first thought when I heard about it was no thank you, but they did a good job with it… At least with the art!

Looks good, but as I’m winding down collecting these this one might just fall on the wrong side of the fence.
I reserve the right to change my mind when I see a proto. :sneaky:

Usually when they put out these concepts they are already in the works, so I would expect to see them at some point.

As much as I enjoyed TROS, I'm just not feeling this bust. I wouldn't even know where to put it in my collection. Pass. Wish we had gotten a Poe bust announced instead.
 
This could be cool if they do it right. I'm down for this and the Bespin Luke they showed. Still not sold on 3PO and Babu Frik.
 
I'm completely in with that bust, could looks amazing!
I really appreciate that two of the three concepts shown this days are from the sequels because are the films less explored yet as a mini bust.
After the probably release of that bust, a Light Jedi Rey with lightsaber it's now a must like I think would be Poe Dameron and Snoke.

Someone on Facebook asked them about the Luke, and when we could expect to have it and they did not reply, Since they usually don't care
about WANT lists and the like, maybe they are just trying to gather reaction now, and see how badly people want them. This is a pass for me, though.

Is your friend on the inside still providing secret information? I read in one of your posts from a while ago you knew someone working for GG.

Yeah, her outfits in TFA and TRoS are pretty much the same (to help with the Leia scenes apparently), however she does have a few different ones in TLJ.

Doesn't help that her first bust is still available 5 years later at most retailers.
 
I am not interested in this bust or anything from the sequels, but I am glad for those who like it. What I don’t understand is the fact that Episode III was released 15 ago and there is no Dark Side Anakin mini bust yet, not even planned for a very distant future release.

I haven’t spoken with them in a while due to the pandemic, so I have no inside information on this. Purely speculation on my part.

I want a 3.75" figure of this Dark Rey. I had hoped it would come out with the few figures that Rise did have but alas, nothing as of yet. :(
 
This one is cool, but I don’t feel the need to buy this one. Not to mention I don’t really have anything to go with it. I guess it’s a standalone piece.
 
After see that concept I assume that after or before they are going to make Light Rey with lightsaber, so why not do a two pack busts like was done with Starkiller?

The bust looks well done, and I'm a sucker for most anything with a lightsaber, so I'm in.

On a side note, if the rumors pan out (and that's a big "if"), Dark Rey may have a much larger role in the 4+ hour Lucas/JJ cut of TROS
 
I also remove the batteries. The batteries in my Kneeling Vader Statue leaked, and with it having David Prowse's auto on it, I don't want to damage it any more. So now all batteries come out, or never go in if they come separate.

You really want a Snoke bust? I really don’t like that character and find him to be the most boring and unassuming character out there. to me he was about as worthless as Captain Phasma, but at least Phasma looked cool! I’d rather have another Jar Jar Binks bust before Snoke! Lol

Am I alone in thinking like that (about Snoke, not Jar Jar)?

I didn’t much care for Snoke, his character was a nobody really. But then I’m not a fan of that trilogy. Plus given how big he’d be I’d pass.
I would definitely buy another Jar Jar bust though :p

I can understand that you don't like the character and maybe also the sequels, but the true is that Poe and Snoke are the most important characters from the sequels not done yet as a minibust.
In addition I think that the design of Snoke as a minibust could be nice because of his appearance.
We have less important characters from the OT and prequels done, so I think that at least this two characters must be done from the sequels.
 
I would love a Snoke Mini Bust.

Honestly, even if it's not a specific character I absolutely loved, it's Star Wars and it's part of the Mini Bust line, so it belongs on the one of the episodic collection shelves.

I look at this line like a magazine subscription service. Sometimes you might get an issue you aren't in love with, but it's all part of the story and it all matters. I set my collection up very deliberately by film starting with Episode I and if there's enough characters that have been done to merit the space, I separate the good guys from the bad guys. Right now, the Episode VIII & IX shelves are pretty non-existent, so any character from those films is welcomed. There is a decent amount of characters from Episode VII, though there are still plenty more they could produce.
 
Not the bigest fan of the ST, but dark Rey would be a nice addition for my Sith shelf, poor Talon is the only female here, and yes, Ventress (realistic version and AND 1:6) plus Dooku, Savage, Snoke, some Inquisitors (Grand, 2nd Sister, 5th Brother, 7nd Sis, 9th Sis) and maybe the KOR Gang (okay, Bith Band reminder...aka 2-3 Knights released aaaaaand adios amigos...lost in GG limbo...Gimbo 👀🥴)
but Darksiders and females are sure hot cakes...Darth Talon anyone?..1.5 -2 grand aftermarke for the SSC PF...the MB and 1/6 are also pricey as hell... 🐿
