Thoughts on seeing Dagan in the Black Series?

There are so many characters from these games I’d rather see first.

Merrin, Cere, Greez, Bode, Jaro Tapal, and the Ninth Sister, to name a few.

I’m genuinely convinced we’re getting Dagan Gera because he has one arm and can re-use parts from High Republic Jedi.

I kind of enjoyed Dagans back story in Jedi Survivor so pretty surprised they ended up making him to be honest.

I agree about wanting other characters first, but I welcome any chance for more jedi (that aren't named Kenobi) in the line.

No idea who he is.
If you haven’t played the 2nd game, play it firstly 😄 but otherwise his wiki will sun him up.

Dagan Gera was a Force-sensitiveArkanian Offshoot male who was once a Jedi Knight and renowned explorer but became a marauder during the Imperial Era. He was a well respected member of the Jedi Order during his prime in the High Republic Era, and discovered the paradisical planet Tanalorr on an uncharted trip through the deadly Koboh Abyss nebula.

His desire to use Tanalorr as a bastion of the Jedi on the Outer Rim and as a temple to train initiates soon blossomed into an obsession with the planet, however the Jedi Council gave the order to abandon Tanalorr which culminated in him betraying the Jedi and being sealed inside a bacta tank for two centuries after the Nihil invaded Tanalorr.

Gera was woken from this slumber in 9 BBY by the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis during the reign of the Galactic Empire and discovered the fall of the Galactic Republic and that Jedi Order were no more, consumed by feeling of betrayal, he fell to the dark side and joined the Bedlam Raiders.

Thanks for the summary, I need to get up to speed with Jedi Survivor's story.

So I've not heard of this guy but can't help but notice he's visually a little bit like Legolas....

To me, he's a pass because I'm not a fan of the sort of Game of Thrones/LOTR crossover aesthetics.

I am wondering if they will give him his "force projected" arm 🤔🤔

Agree, about Merrin. Surprised she didn't get a figure based on the first game already, considering we got two brothers too.
Her from the second game would be awesome

Be interesting, I wonder if they even know about it or if they'll take this opportunity to save on tooling by not including one arm? lol

While I'm not that surprised because it's a cheap and easy Gaming Greats release for them, and it also cover new media, I'm surprised if anyone even wants it because IMO the character turned out to be very poorly executed. I'm not the biggest fan of High Republic in the first place, so I wasn't thrilled with the inclusion of that arc in the game. Partly why it didn't interest me as much as the first. Heck, I'd be more inclined to buy Eno Cordova over Dagan! So, I wonder if they'll make him?

But I do know more people would likely buy Merrin, maybe even queef or whatever, they could reuse Kuiil as a base perhaps?

I'm interested in the prices for both, thank you!!

I actually started the game last week and just got to Dagan's first appearance in the game (I spend a LOT more time exploring in these games). I'm just glad to see more non-troopers from the games.

Yeah, for some reason I could never remember that little guys name. But after looking more closely I don't think Kuiil would work at all, so that means no figure of him.

He's supposed to be an Arkanian Offshoot, a species that first appeared via the character Jarael in John Jackson Miller's Knights of the Old Republic, so yes, looking elvish is on-point:

I don't think the violet highlights are doing him any favours, though. Should have gone with blue, like Jarael.

Nor I. The overall look seems incongruously ostentatious for the Jedi Order.

It'll be nice to have another figure to pose Cal against. I'm glad to be getting him, but he wouldn't have been my first choice from either game. Looks great though!
