Often, when I post a custom with a 3d print part, someone will ask where I got it, or where are the best custom parts shops. So I was thinking I'd make & maintain a public list. I don't really have web skills so it's just a basic Google Site, but have a look, and let me know what I missed that should be added.

Bookmarked, thank you! Do you happen to have any tips on what paints you use for resin prints? I have some of Red Flares incredible prints, but have held off on paining as I don't want to use the wrong ones.

Yeah, trim the supports or any extra resin bits, sand the project, wash with soapy water. Then be sure to use a primer. I use Vallejo acrylic surface primer (comes in a couple colors). Then acrylic paints. I tend to use vallejo for that too. Then seal the project. For a seal I like the vallejo matt varnish.

Those brands and processes are absolutely what I needed, because I love your work. Many thanks for your contributions!!

A couple minor updates:

^ Kind of spendy, specifically for a tiny holocron, particularly when the quality isn't that much better than others I've seen offering the same for less.

Just an average search on ebay and ehobby of random accessories, didn't keep track of who the sellers were. Granted there's 4 holocron for $13 but it's tough to shake the aspect of an accessory coming with a figure for anywhere between that and $18. lol

I guess it depends.

Nothing funny. Just curious.

Thank you @don for this long list. I am still looking through all the sites.

I found the Australien Syndicate Customs earlier but it was always too much postal cost to Europe for 1-2 heads. But think I will give it a try. They offer a 3.75 Iden Versio head I am looking for.

Whatever you do, don’t order from Moff Glideon’s Customs on Facebook.

I’ve been waiting several months for $72 worth of prints. He conveniently refuses a refund after 48 hours of an order, and has for many months posted nothing but excuses on his FB page - while still promoting and offering his printing services. Disability, family issues, printers not working, are just a few. I’ve always been kind to him, but after he started ignoring my check-ins I’m now in PayPal dispute hell with him. So please, do yourself a favor, and never order from him.

Hey, sorry it's been awhile. I am currently working overseas and have less time for hobbies. I did update the custom shops site to add Mistress Mouse, and drop Moff Glideon.

Has anyone bought from Seinar Custom Shop? I placed an order from him on April 7th for a 3D printed Outrider that would be as big as the BMF. It was supposed to ship mid-June. It is now December and I have not received it. I have contacted him in the meantime. Sometimes he would reply after messaging him a second time. He did provide me occassional updates, but after May they stopped and I was the one to initate contact. I messaged him asking for an update at one point, no response. I requested a refund and that's when he got back to me. He did message back another time I asked for an update. I placed the order through Etsy.

His FB and IG pages haven't been updated in months as well.

I only bought from him once, but it was a good experience. I couldn’t tell you what’s up with this one.

I sent him a message a week or so before Christmas and no response. I gave it a bit because of the holidays. I sent another message last night. If I don't hear anything I'm going to put in for a refund. I shouldn't have to be the one to send messages requesting updates.

Does anyone has good experience with Syndicate Customs from Australia?
They offer really great and affordable parts and heads. Only shipping cost is really high to Europe.

So just updating this situation. I tried filing a claim through Etsy and spoke with a representitive. They told me the window to file a claim had closed, but they would reach out to the seller and ask him to update me. I still haven't heard from the seller. The last progress update I have is October 2nd. The last message from him was January 8th. I was told to contact Paypal, however they have a 180 day window for claims, which has passed. I was told to contact my bank (Citizens).

After filing a claim there, I got a letter the beginning of March, saying the transaction is valid - meaning the claim was closed and I wouldn't be getting my money back. They also included paperwork of screengrabs showing the seller got back to me. However the screengrabs were from mid-2024. I called my bank back again and had them reopen the case. I also emailed the disputes department screengrabs of my Etsy account showing the item still hasn't shipped. Now i have to wait another 7-10 business days.

I've made a few purchases from them, no complaints. I'm in the US, and orders take about 2 months.
