Thought I'd get the ball rolling and get a couple threads going about a few characters that stand a good chance of being made into plastic.

Anyone got any thoughts on seeing a Count Dooku figure? What action feature should he come with if any?

Yeah- if it looks like that screen shot- it's gonna be one ugly figure. Also, he should have a Makashi salute action feature. Ha!

Re: Count Dooku

What's the matter, Count? Why the long face?

This is going to be one hideous figure when it is made. And we all know with Dooku's role in the prequels, he will be made.

This is another figure for me to pass on.

Wow, now that is an animated head there. Geez. Good luck with that one Hasbro.

I guess I'm the only one then who likes this stylized version of Dooku

Re: Count Dooku

It very much reminds me of Mr.Incredible's head design, which is based on a spartan (?) helmet- as the forehead and the nose for one line.
This Dooku design seems to take that look one step further.

I think this could either turn out really bad...
Or really good.

We will see!

I guess I should of re-worded it. I mean, I think people are either going to hate it or love it... Not much in between you know?

Re: Count Dooku

Could come with a cape and force lightning...

Maybe if they want to make it fun for the kids he could be released with light up force lightning kind of like the old Palpatine figure from the POTF deluxe line with the light up bolts.

Might even come with "Sith eyes" ala near the end of new trailer.

I like this version of Dooku.

Re: Count Dooku

A Sith eyes variant would be welcome. I hope he comes with a hooded cape as well. I'd be all for cloth cape with a removable plastic hood.

Dooku looks pretty cool with a cape. I hope they include it on the figure.

i'll settle for the cape w/o the lightning
They could always give him the ol' interchangable hands, like the Sith evo version (even if they were shared with Palps).

I love the thought of the soft goods cape with removable plastic hood. Especially if they give it to a more realistic Dooku.

It's hard to see if he has knees or not. He will kinda suck if he doesn't with that pose.

The rumor list had a deluxe Dooku w/Swoop bike. So maybe that fig will have more leg articulation..or worse...stuck in a fixed seated position.

Re: Count Dooku

a removable robe with hood would have added something different to this character. And without knee articulation, this guy is an overall failure. I do like the animation on Dooku though.

Re: Count Dooku

Eh....boring. Dooku has never been my favorite Star Wars character.....in fact, he's probably my least favorite.

I'll definitely pass on this one.

Re: Count Dooku

He was an okay character to me. Nothing great but not bad. I think I mainly just liked him because Christopher Lee played him. I like the actor more than the actual character. Anyway, yeah this is an easy pass for me.

Re: Count Dooku

I'm a huge Dooku fan. Great character played by a legendary actor. I'm thinking about picking this up even though it's animated. There's not all that much Dooku product out there (at least product that would qualify as good), so I'm always excited to see something new.

I am going to pass on this figure, it is suffering from the same problem as Yoda too Animated looking, which has spoiled it, plus lack of basic knee articulation, nope its a pass, I will wait until they release him in the realistic style.

Also this one reminds me of the Original Clone Wars Animated Figures.
