and who doesn't want a great 6" Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing to stand next to each other.
From what can be seen in the blurred image, he does look great, and I am kind of expecting it to be one of the best figures.
A certain buy for sure. Curious about the saber though, as someone said: will the saber have 2 different blades? one for motion and one for stance?
Glam shots are up, two blades for sure. And his cloak looks amazing!
Totally smokes the SHF version. BS Dooku is actually wearing clothes, whereas SHF Dooku was suited up in his best chest armor to go BMX biking. Not even a contest.
Now having seen both I'm glad I kept my Figuarts. It's a much better likeness. And of the 2 crappy capes I'll take the Bandai one. That said, the BS color palette is on point and the non-segmented chest is much better looking. It would have a lot more appeal to me if they included a force gesture hand or ANY hand instead of the action blade. I think they're useless personally. But I do have to say, that for the price...is the Figuarts worth the extra $60? Can't say I definitively think so in this instanceSHF face is a much better likeness but this one has the better colors. Both cloaks look horrible, at least the BS one isn’t comically wide and lays better but both are ugly soft goods.
Be cool if he had removable head and hands.
I wonder if the Palpatine force lightning hands will work with Dooku.
Is there an amazon link to pre-order Dooku? I can't find him there.
Drat, "currently unavailable"
Pulse it is then.
Is that all we need?Sweet! Now all we need to round out the Geonosis display a Super Battle Droid, a true Ep I-III Yoda, a re-tooled Amidala (bare midriff), a faceprinted Jango Fett (re-release) and a re-release of the AOTC Phase 1 Clone Trooper. A Geonosian Warrior, Ki Adi Mundi, Shaak-Ti and Aalya Secura would be the icing on the cake.
Ha, looking at how empty the Black Series PT displays were compared to the OT's at Celebration Chicago, I'd say yes and that's coming from someone who wasn't planning to really get into the 6" line!
With the exception of the Geonosian Warrior all the figures mentioned appeared in at least two feature films and were featured regularly on TCW.
