Can't say I care for this one at all, his appearance is precisely what I would expect a chef in Jabba's palace to look like.

He reminds me of the Pod Racer aliens. And that is not good. I hope he turns out okay in the movie.
Anyone notice the Boba Fett color patterns? And anyone else get a slight Boussh vibe too? It's like...okay...they combined Embo from Clone Wars, Boba Fett, and Boussh to make a rejected Jabba's Palace alien.

I think he looks cool, but he has the potential to be a peg warmer if he's not particularly memorable. Though, he's only 1 per case in wave 2, so maybe not.
I hadn't even heard of this guy until the wave was announced. He looks cool though. One girl took him off the peg right when I got to Meijer. It was the last 6 inch at Meijer.

He looks cool enough but I will probably pass. With space and money to think about, I'm trying to focus on OT and just the major characters/personal favorites from the PT and ST. I agree he could end up being the Greedo of the relaunched line.

I'm buying it, regardless, but the face sculpt (the part you can see) looks a bit cartoonish.
I dig him...been trying to find him and Phasma for the last few days, but so far it doesn't seem wave 2 has made an appearance around here yet. Kohl's you were my only hope...I'll probably hold off on checking for a bit.

On Sunday night, I looked at Poe, and I thought I'd cover another of the wave 2 figures last night - Constable Zuvio! Hard to tell at this point whether he'll be somebody, or nobody, a great character, or a Jar Jar. But the figure is nice either way - the review is here:

Yes, I noticed the ROTJ Fett colors too. Could he be old man Fett escaped from the Sarlaac all mangled up?

Yea, the article has an interesting take on it. Zuvio is a little short to be a Fett.
And he's an alien.
I received Constable Zuvio from Amazon a couple of days ago and finally got around to opening him. He's actually a really cool figure - though his design inhibits his leg movement a bit, but I can't see a way around this without softgoods. I don't like them, personally, so I don't mind the limited leg movement. The paint on mine is pretty crisp, though I feel like perhaps something is lacking in the face - but without having seen the character, I can't be for sure. I look forward to seeing him in action in the film.

This is a lovely figure. Hadn't been bothered picking him up at all, but now I have I don't regret it all. He's nicely done and the paint on him is very good. I recommend him to anyone who is still on the fence.
I found this guy yesterday at Walmart. There were four of them on the peg, and no sign of the rest of wave 2. There were also four Finn figures; so I'm wondering if we have found a new pagwarmer.

Walmart? this is the first time I've heard of a sighting of Wave 2 at Walmart. This is a good indication that Wave 2 is finally arriving in numbers.
I think Finn was included in the Wave 2 case. Any place that has had Wave 2, all I ever see is Poe, Zuvio, Finn, and Stormtrooper. I was lucky enough to get the Stormtrooper.

I feel he will be a pegwarmer as well, unless he turns out to be someone significant in the movie. I saw him for 3 consecutive days at my local gamestop and passed him up.

Too many characters that we have no reference to in the movie, in terms of good guy, bad buy, lots of scenes, or a few scenes. For all we know, all these characters should be sxxt back ground characters that share nothing with anything. So you want us getting basically a hammerhead, jawa, snoodles, zonk droid, all based on no face time. Hard to do for $20. Also, doesn't help that figures looks like crap.
I don't agree that the figures look bad, but it is a strange position to be buying figures for characters that we literally have no information on, beyond the blurb on the back of the package. If he turns out to be a cool character, I imagine sales will pick up.

I really like it too. The figure has far superior paint apps to most other black series figures, his armour is lovely.
There were 2 sighting of wave 2 in my area that I know about.These where people I spoke to.Besides Phasma,Poe x-wing flight suit and the Enforcer this guy has even sold. Very odd to say the least.
Hypotheticially speaking: If I actually purchased him, I'd take him down to the beach, and take photos of him in the sand dunes, scavenging away on the wreck of one of my old kenner ships... He'd make a cool addition to a beachside diorama / Jakku reinactment.

I got this guy the other day and I really dig him. I like the way his backpack works, he's got a cool weapon, and a funky hat. I showed him to my eight year old, who said "Cool, he looks like a potato"
I bought someone today.
