Happy to be getting Cobb. It still stings that he’ll be a deluxe (no shocker). My hope is that in addition to having the armor molded on him, we get a separate set of armor.

I’m guessing we won’t have to wait too long to get the BOBF version of Cobb.

Agreed. Armored for deluxe, red shirt for single card.

With that said... it's about damn time!

For anyone who had Cobb in their March Madness top 25 and is looking for a worthy candidate from the Mandoverse to replace him, may I suggest one of the following fine characters for your consideration:

Trandoshan Bounty Hunter(s)

Chussido (The Mandalorian version)

and finally, the one and only
Greef Karga (Season 1)

(Though of course if Cobb Vanth was on your list, then Greef Karga was certainly already there as well, right?)

If this was released in the deluxe assortment when the character first appeared, the sales would have surely been driven by more eager fans, but a few years later, and I don't see this one moving at the same speed, feels like more of a sale item, like the rest of the deluxe range gathering dust at Target.

Personally, I'm hoping the armor is removable so he can sport either look.

I'm pleased this figure is coming out, but, yeah, it feels VERY late.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if the deluxe price tag is justified.
I can't imagine that it would come with more than what Tatooine Fett came with, he really never had much of anything in terms of "extras" anyway. Probably just mimic TBS accessories with maybe the addition of jetpack exhausts effects. Which in reality what's pictured below should be a basic release but deco apparently costs more than an arm and leg these days.

Being in the Boba Fett armor is kind of a deal breaker. If there's a way to remove it - definitely. Otherwise he'll most likely be a clearance buy for a headswap.

They will most likely be doing a BOBF version at some point too, since 80% of this release would go to that one. They'd be daft if they didn't.

(sorry)
Maybe it'll be such a good figure everyone will Go buy it right away. It'll could be in a League of its own. In that case, it'll be Gone in 60 Seconds. Everyone from Mr. And Mrs. Smith to The Girl Next Door will want one.

Everywhere from Fargo to the Shadow Realm will be out of these. Take some Advice from a Caterpillar. Don't Curb Your Enthusiasm and don't wait until Mother's Day. Preorder these right away! But, you know how Amazon and Pulse can be. I hope my cardback doesn't arrive with Damages. If that happens, I'll send a Hitman after 'em.

Well, we've beaten this joke into the ground. So this is where I leave you....

The decision to make it deluxe by The Crazies at Hasbro may mean Cobb is too pricey at first, but then, that's Hasbro's deal and you gotta remember...... We're Dealin' With Idiots. Deluxe pricing makes me want to Scream....(2). I like Cobb's character, He's A Man Apart, a Rock Star who intends to Live Free Or Die Hard. Sure the figure is a little late, but I'll probably look to get at least one. If I wait till he is a clearanced, I might miss out entirely and I'd become a member of The Broken Hearts Club.

I’d be down for this figure if I see it on sale. And I’m fairly certain I’ll find it cheap at some point based on the experiences I’ve had with deluxe figures.

I got Paz on a discount, I found Sabine on discount (but passed.) I'm still waiting for a cheap Krrsantan, damnit!!

It can also be said that if one doesn't mind waiting longer why not and save a few bucks. It's their hard-earned Money to do so.
They just don't have the right to complain if they miss out and are SOL, or then have to pay double for it on ebay.

Each figure/character has its own worth, some may seem worth the MSRP while others do not. Some people might think that the only way to break even on Pulse Sabine at $50 is to catch a break on another figure elsewhere at regular retail.

$50 Sabine I might actually wait but only because I absolutely don’t need another Chopper and two useless loth cats. I hate Hasbro for doing that. If I didn’t have Chopper already then maybe I would.

Why spend $20-30 when I can spend $10-20? Or put another way, why spend full rate for 1 overpriced, overproduced figure when I can wait it out and get 2 figures for likely the same ballpark price? I don’t need to subsidize $100k cars and million dollar vacations for Kathy Kennedy and Chris Cocks.

There are 19 deluxe figures sitting at my local Target today. They've all been there since before Thanksgiving.

BOBF is something most of us want to forget or pretend doesnt exist. Vanth belated release reminds of us that it exists still, lol

I’m impatient so I’m willing to pay sticker price or more for the toys I want. If I wait for a sale then it’s probably for a figure I really don’t care about

The post-credit scene of BoBF pretty heavily implies we'll see him again with modifications.
Agreed that they have plans for the character but I also said that with SW, Marvel, & a half dozen other brands.

Given I don’t think BoBF season 2 or Rangers of the New Republic will be happening. I just don’t know at this point where we will see him again. I’d like to see him in the Mando movie but a lot of plans seem to change quickly.

I feel like Marvel teases are a lot more likely to pan out than they used to. The fewer SW shows have a bit of a better track record of that stuff paying off so far though (Fennic being rescued).

I think Vanth will be in whatever comes next for Din. Plus, the Mandalorian has a guest star in every episode. Personally, I wouldn't mind if somehow we see Luke directly interacting with him. When Din went to visit Grogu, we didn't expect to see Ahsoka there to greet him. I don't mind , the knowing each other from meetings off screen.
