I learned a lot about sculpting by looking at how others did it. I thought I would post a kind of start to finish.
The first step in making your sculpt is making your frame. Mine is very simple. I get as much reference material I can so I get the scale right and it will fit and can be displayed with the 3.75 inch figures. I get my wire out in this case I am using a higher gauge thin wire. With larger sculpts I have used thicker cooper tubing. In this case it should work. After looking at my reference material the creature needs to be about 6 inches long. I look at pictures of the arms and legs and decide how long the arms and legs should be and I write the measurements down. This is just great reference so you have a road map to make another if you want.
