Agreed. There is potential for a helmet to be glued on crooked the way they are doing it now. I have also been hearing that the bands for the elbow pads tend to break. Personally, I'd take durability over increased articulation. I could live with the articulation of the old mold and the Rex mold.yessss
Though I wish they just stopped the removeable helmet(non-removeable aka glued in this case) and just give a solid helmet. That helmet looks a little soft and squished.
Thanks for the comparison shots. That Clone Trooper Lieutenant looks really off white in comparison to the new Clone Troopers. If I didn't know better, I would think the Lieutenant was an older figure which had yellowed with age.
At least that means it fits in with the other Phase 1 Commanders that have been sitting on my shelves for yearsThanks for the comparison shots. Agreed, this new mold is so good. And I like Phase 1s more than Phase 2, so I'm overjoyed. Really think I'll pick any up if I happen to find more on shelves (ordering online would result in me spending way too much money, but leaving it to fate I can kind of justify!).Wow that looks 10x better then the clone from Walgreens.
Definitely want to see more Phase 1 clones going forward though, few commanders and named clones would be easy money makers for Hasbro.
That sucks, and it makes me nervous about the two I ordered. I also have yet to receive the four Stormtroopers I ordered, and I am concerned about the condition in which they will arrive. If I can find good ones at a store, I'd buy them and cancel my pre-orders.I got mine yesterday and boy is his helmet warped. No amount of heating is fixing it, it's like the mold itself was lopsided...
