Hasbro has revealed we’ll be seeing a Phase 1 Clone Troope Lieutenant from the Ahsoka show in the Vintage Collection.

This is a pretty easy repaint for Hasbro, so I’m not surprised we’re getting one.

It does feel weird to be getting another Clone Lt. in TVC (let alone another carded one). It would be nice to get the other Phase 1 officers.

I wonder if we can expect Phase 1 Rex soon? TBS got a pipeline for one, and it seems like Hasbro wants to make more figures from the Clone Wars flashbacks from Ahsoka.

It also makes me wonder if they’ll make Ahsoka from the first flashback. I would guess they’ll do her live-action Mandalore version, but the first flashback version would require quite a bit of new tooling.

No, we haven’t had a non-animated Phase 1 Rex. There was one that got cancelled about a decade ago, though.

Count me in as one who' rather had the Commander or even Captain first. Or that it should have been part of a 4-pk, instead let's waste it on a "flashback" when we could have had an actual AOTC them to it...

While I'm not itching to get a phase 1 version I'm sure some are and it would be a neat reuse slot to pack in alongside a new tool to bring costs down, heck they could even do a 2-pk with him and Cody!

The only thing that makes sense to me is that Lucasfilm somehow has a quota of new vs old media figures. Hasbro can skirt around this somewhat, but couldn't push for rhe red or the yellow officers since they weren't seen. I mean, how much of a promotional tie-in is this really once it finally comes out? "Remember that show we released 18-20 months ago? Remember this blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo? TA DAAAAA!"

You KNOW Hasbro is all over that $17 for minimal effort. It makes their accountants salivate.

I don’t know where Hasbro’s mindset is with some of these repaints. While I don’t dislike they’re updating the Clone Lt., and I get the justification of doing him now, he doesn’t feel like a priority over the other officers or even a Phase 1 Clone Pilot.

This year alone they could’ve swapped out not Season 3 Axe and Cal (Imperial Disguise) for a new Phase 1 Clone Captain and Phase 1 Clone Pilot. Maybe that would’ve been clone overkill, but I think the community would be open to getting more AOTC TVC cardbacks. Plus, the aforementioned clones are troop builders, easier to make for Hasbro, and have never been offered in TVC cards.

At least the "planner" of the line. I mean it's not Chris, Emily etc. that dictate which figures are in a wave, right?

Hasbro is incorrectly listing this as the Lieutenant but it's actually a regular Phase 1 501st. They made the same mistake recently with the Black Series 2-pack. I hope they get the name correct on the cardback.

Mainly the 4 dots on the chest you see on all the Clone officers in AOTC. They took those same designs in The Clone Wars took and removed the dots to make them 501st (blue - Lieutenant), 212th (yellow - Commander), Coruscant Guard (red - Captain), and 41st Elite Corps (green - Sergeant)

Hahaha, they kept saying the Clone Lt., but it makes more sense for them to be making a Phase 1 501st Clone. Yeah, that's probably what they're going for. I hope they clarify that later.

I didn't really even notice, that scene went by so quickly and the Clone was the least of my attention. Looks like I can totally pass on it then if it doesn't have the dots.

I'm the opposite; I love the Phase I. Means I miss out on most of the cool colours and stuff though.

I'm okay with a few P2 Clones, but if they're going to go down that road we need a totally new sculpt because the Andor version isn't accurate to AOTC. One I had the most recent Clone in hand it was glaringly obvious. I also thought the helmet sucked, too shallow for the head and the detail was not there. I'd rather they didn't do the swappable helmet for Regs, and only had it for Commanders or names Clones.

So, if they trot out a bunch of P1 Clones in this current buck I'll pass anyway. They at least need to change out that chubby torso for AOTC Clone Trooper. I've basically got all I need for the Gunships and AT-TE and can't think of reasons for anymore.

I would entertain some from TCW such as Dogma, Kix and I still want Boil.
