Coming in the 6" line will be a Clone Trooper Captain from AOTC:

who's going to be buying this figure? Share your thoughts here.

He looks good, however I never really liked the Phase I armor. I may buy him, and an extra Cody to make a custom Shock Trooper (maybe Spec Ops Shock trooper for example)

Of the three phase1 clones, I think this one looks the coolest so far!!! My only complaint would be the white pins in the elbow joint, but that's minor for a figure with just a couple of colors on it!!! Would be cool if they tweaked this one down the road to make a Captain Fordo, like the VC version, as I love that figure!!!

going to go out on a limb and say that we will see blue and yellow versions of this figure as well

I've been away from the forums for a while, so this is my first look at this fella.

He looks great!

I'll admit, the Phase 1 clones are a little further down on my list of clones I'm really most interested in (in order):

- Captain Rex (Phase 2)
- Captain Rex (Phase 1)
- 501st troopers (Phase 2)
- Commander Cody (ROTS)
- 212th troopers (Phase 2)
- And if you're counting Jango as a 'clone'? Then yeah, Jango, too (oh, and a ROTJ Boba).

And then come the remaining Phase 1 Officers.

That said, this should in no way be taken to mean that I'm not into these guys. I very, very much look forward to seeing this Phase 1 Captain in my display, alongside my dirty Sergeant and his five battle-scarred troopers.

And I really hope to see the blue Lieutenant and yellow Commander released in short order, as well.

Keep 'em coming, Hasbro.

Okay, after working on my custom ARC trooper using the Sergeant, I'm now DEFINATELY buying the Captain.

One Captain Fordo, COMING UP!

This is funny, because when I first saw the Captain, I definitely wanted him to create Null-11, Ordo, from the Republic Commando series.
So you'll be wanting a Captain Fordo, and I want a Captain Ordo.

Clone Trooper Captain is currently up for preorder on BBTS as a single or in a case of 3 (Clone Captain, Emperor and Stormtrooper Luke) or a case of 4 figures (Clone Captain, Emperor, Stormtrooper Han Solo and Stormtrooper Luke).

I like the red alot... I would love and expect all the ranks... maybe even a reg phase 2 clone(dont hang me for this) I just think the Troopers are a win in this line. no need worry about ugly faces and stoner/crackhead eyes.

Anybody know when this will be released? I cant trust EE anymore after preordering wave 3 and it kept getting pushed back.

I bought the one off vipers kingdom and turned him into Captain Fordo (or Ordo if you're a fan of Republic Commando). Fantastic figure, paint apps were all on point. For those wondering, he is the same shade as the white clone trooper, not the weird off green the sergeant is, thankfully. Also, hasbro seemed to have widened the paint on the "teeth" so that it looks crisp and fills in the teeth area.

looks neat and great for a fordo custom, though ive only seen one so far. i was really considering getting him, but didnt like the sloppy paint apps on the helmet.

I have mine now and like it's been said, I really like how they used the same bright shade of white as the first clone, rather than the off-white shade on the Sergeant. The dark red stripes look very nice as well. It's pretty clean on mine for the most part, despite some small smears.

When is this guy going to hit stores?....Or should I just order him online? I have a slight issue with wanting all of the 6-inch clone figures...but then again with over seventy 3 3/4 scale clones...It should not be surprising! I have the feeling that I should just order him from Hasbro Toy Shop along with the plain armor Phase I and Commander Cody.

found this at Walmart the other day.
I am glad that the helmet is painted better than the grunt trooper, (viser and mouth)

But i am having some issues with the legs. Anybody having this problem?
It hard to explain compared to the other clones.

Picked this guy up today at Walgreens and I'm surprised how much he's grown on me. Still need to track down a lower enlisted Clone at some point. Happy with my purchase though

How are the joints on yours?

This is nicer than the Sgt version. But I am rather disappointed that the knees are so yellow on this thing. :(

They just look yellow because they were cast in black and painted white. Hasbro probably should've added one more layer so the black wouldn't "bleed through" making them appear yellowish. I will probably add a coat of white paint myself.

I got mine off of eBay, since they have not yet hit any stores in my area. I'm very happy with him overall, although he has two slight paint smears, one on the back of his helmet and one on the side of his helmet. The knee plates are rather yellow, but it was mentioned in one of the DK 'Visual Dictionary' books that they (the knee plates) were frequently replaced, so that is my reason for not putting on another layer of white paint.

Wait, the AOTC clone trooper's knees were cast in black and then painted white, but at least on mine anyway, are nowhere near as yellow as those of the captain.
