Its because hasbro took the SL Rex torso and slapped articulated arms and legs on it. It's an okay figure could have been better if they used the VC clone sculpted but hey it's hasbro! The black series Rex is just stuff of nightmares it's the SL Rex with more movement. I weep. I pray that amazon have the old legacy collection 2013 sculpt coming!

Honestly, I'm not really interested in this figure at all. A likely pass...and an easy one at that.

The waist looks static, as do the knees :( why provide BJ ankles if the knees don't move? I guess hasbro got bored of using that definitive VC45 sculpt and thought it'd be hilarious to peev off loyal CW fans with this joke of a figure. If thus becomes the new standard to Clones, then I'm out. They've been the only thing I've been interested in updating thanks to the VC45, and now this happens.

I guess the whole "legends won't affect articulated figures" hasbro claim is a load of BS then since we've got Legends Yoda and now half a legends Rex and Doom in the line now :(

And then they waste Wolffe with desert armour when we just could have had a definitve phase II Wolffe. Instead we get a clone who has no one to lead. Just one lone desert trooper. Good job hasbro :(

Makes you wonder if we are leaving the vc45 era. What a waste if that is true. That would mean no definitive Bacara, Bly, Cody, Gree, airborne trooper, red/yellow P1 clones, the list goes on...

Exactly man, and that's depressing for a Clone fan. These hybrids are just a travesty of a figure when we had a current sculpt that was good to go (more so with Rex since he was even prototyped as a VC45. The quality is just really dropping lately, but they have you by the throat. We as fans need product like a drug, which they exploit in any move they can. The only people who I've been pleased with this year are Neca and Mega Bloks. Neca have knocked the Pacific Rim figures out the park, giving us good first releases, then upgrading them via feedback in good time. Then Mega bloks decide to add more to their sets and minifigures, creating removable, swappable armour, more articulation etc, again on feedback.

then we get hasbro who listen to no one, do whatever the hell they like, then claim it's all our faults for not buying. Not cool hasbro!

Oh, i see now. A really awkward move. Hasbro are trying hard to put that line to bed.

This figure is so pointless. I don't even remember this guy from the show.

I watched the arc he appeared in and he still barely registers. I think he had maybe one or two lines and it was all "yes general/move out troops" stuff. So many memorable clones and this guy gets a figure? This figure should have been Fives.

Sorry, no edit... Maybe its the lack of any kind of battle damage on the armor, but he looks a lot less goofy in that screenshot than the figure does.

Personally I'm kind of excited to see this guy. After they dropped the Clone Wars like a used cigarette I was afraid we wouldn't see the cool designs like Doom and Desert Wolffe. Of course this means we'll have to spend the next 18 months complaining to Hasbro to get us some troops. Then they'll spit something out all half-***** like they normally do.

Anyone noticed that all of these figures are due March 2015? So after wave 5, there's nothing for like 5 months? WTF hasbro!?

OMG, are you telling me that these are reusing SL Rex torso to make these new Clones?
That has go to be beyond ridiculous! Here I thought, that since they had a perfectly good Clone sculpt that they have been using for repaints the last 3-4 years.
That these new Clones would utilize it, not some half butchered cobbled together piece of crap!

No wonder they didn't go with SG Kama like I mention in another thread, because the hips are not even BH. Their cost cutting moves are driving me away from this line, as well as the others. I can accept it on some figures, but not Clones, Jedi etc! Especially in TBS line. They might as well have just released them in SL, if they're going to trim fat everywhere!

Yes its horrific, Wolfe is the only one that hasn't been butchered. And the worse news is the Thorn figure will likely be based on doom! Basing by Looking at the face sculpt on Doom.

I will get one just because it's a clone and I love the clones but this paint scheme kind of sucks for me. I'm with the other guy that says it looks cooler in the episode than it does as a figure.

Then get to it, soldier! They are awesome and directly expand on things established in Attack of the Clones.

Well, they're not ALL awesome lol. Nobody really needs a Jar-Jar love interest story arc. And "Padme goes to get a loan" was 2 episodes too long.

The other stories were pretty dang sweet. Especially this one with Doom in it.

I don't stream Netflix. Are those episodes ever going to be put out on DVD?

No word that I've heard. But God I hope so. My "Complete Series" Blu-Ray set is a little incomplete at the moment. :\

I wouldnt even no where to begin on that movie, horrible casting, plus its this "Ultimate" stuff but I got out've marvel comics since 1996 when the stories and art were getting bad, so its not what I know.

Even as a self-professed Jar Jar lover, I can agree that arc was pretty much unnecessary, but I loved the "Padme goes to get a loan" arc, personally. Thought it was really interesting. Although, I thought the banking clan was thoroughly on the side of Dooku as per AOTC... (but I suppose that's a question for another thread)

And Amazon Germany has a blu ray release listed for the lost episodes. I would imagine it is coming...

Well, I did like that we got to see Anakin's Dark Side come out when he beat the tar out of that guy. It really helped me appreciate the pre-Vader version of that character and help us understand his transition better. What I was trying to say was it was too long. They could have gotten all the major points done in 1 episode.

GREAT NEWS!!! I've got a buddy that will be just as relieved as me. THANKS MAN!!!

It's relatively SA- Wrists, elbows and shoulders are ball swivel. Neck appears to be swivel due to the saga legends helmet/torso re-use. Legs are swivel hip, ball swivel knees and ankles. Unsure on the waist. Being the SL body, there would be no swivel joint, but there does appear to be a slit running around the waist, perhaps to support a swivel waist OR it could just be the gap between the belt and figure itself. The rest though is pretty straightforward. It still begs the question as to why though. To retool parts unneededly when the VC45 Sculpt is good to go is just plain stupid, and a waste of money.

I'm wondering also if it's just something the concept dept. threw together for the reveal. Hasbro does that all the time with GI Joe. Granted it's usually just a head change. But recently I saw them swap out the entire figure while still calling him the same thing.
