Has anyone seen this before? The blaster is a translucent blue but has clear plastic sections that look like the plastics didnt get mixed enough or something. The rear end of the scope has a clear section of plastic and the top arch on the barrel also shows that same clear plastic. My initial thought was prototype/early sample blaster due to not ever hearing or seeing this before. Also not sure if the shape is different or the molding is different but to me it looked slightly odd, may just be from the clear plastic areas. Any opinions or insight would be great, thanks.

Definitely not a prototype and is a known variant. Early production blasters are typically green in color and were mostly with the first 12. Most do not put additional value on them.

This is pretty typical with the dyes separating from the plastic resin during production. Not commonly to this degree where you can see clear through, but it does happen. Not a prototype, but still a neat look into the variance that the blue cast weapons had

I had a green translucent Chewie's Bowcaster at one time so it's not just the small guns either :)

Yes I have several translucent green guns and other color guns that are transparent too. I've just never seen one with clear see through spots which I though was quite interesting. Otherwise the translucent blasters are a cool variant!
