Yes folks, our website - www.cheeseheadgarrison.com is online!

I'll be doing some updates and other tweaks to the site soon, but at least the domain is working properly, control panel is working and we've already got one feature that I'm eventually going to "rebrand" for us... a Classified Ads feature

I need to do a new button for it on the website, but for now its got an easy to remember URL - www.cheeseheadgarrison.com/forsale - Its a basic free classified ads script that I'll be tweaking and adding more categories to, but it's a good place to post your stuff that you want to try and sell.

Next up will be the Photo Gallery. Then a blog or some other posting system that we can password protect and post our finds that we don't want EVERYONE finding out about

Membership will have its benefits!

I can also set up an official @cheeseheadgarrison.com e-mail address for members who request it. To keep server space lighter, the accounts will be limited to about 10 megs of storage or you can request a forwarder. But you have to be an official member of the CHG to get one!

Looks good. However, some of the images could use some more spacing/padding as things are a bit crowded along the left.

Pretty cool! Remind me of the membeship cost again. Hopefully there's no hazing! Any chance of doing another t-shirt order in the near future?

Yeah I've gotta tweak that sidebar a bit, I think I might just go to frames instead of tables, we'll see. Since I do plan on basically linking to a few other sites from within the site, like the myspace, the gallery, the classifieds, other stuff. I'm trying to find a good calender script so we can post our meeting and other event dates on there.

I was considering setting up a e-mail list for members, so we can blast send e-mails to everyone about upcoming meetings, but I dunno... would you prefer that or a PM? Just trying to make things easier on our Fearless Leader and so everyone knows the schedule.

And again if anyone's got any good piccys from the meetings, send 'em over!

Don't use frames. That looks worse than a table. Use something like DIV tags instead.

You may also want to look into using a CMS like Drupal, Joomla, etc. There are A LOT of addons out there that would let you do things like a photo gallery, calendar for meetings, etc.

Yeah I've been considering one of those, but we'll see. I've got installers for those on the server's control panel. I'll be setting up the gallery this week sometime.

I need to send you pics from the last meeting. I keep forgetting. They're on my phone. Where would you prefer I send them?

The last sentence "The Cheesehead Garrison is strictly a non-profit fan based organization" on the web page needs a period after it. It is under the Join section.

I didn't know it was that time of the month for the CHG...

Tom, I must say, this is the first time I've ever seen you picky about grammar...

You can e-mail them to me, or if you're like Tom, upload them somewhere and send me a link. NickFotoGuy@aol.com is fine.

Thanks Grammar Police hehe... yeah I'll post the date of our next meeting.
