Hello. I haven’t been on the forum in a long time.

I’m hoping to go to Celebration with my nephew.

I have question - does the day pass grant access to all panels and events (such as the Ashoka talk on the Saturday) - you just have to queue outside the hall? Or is the day pass just to get in the building and we have to pay again for each panel?
Thank you

The panels are included in the ticket price. The last few Celebrations in the US however, had a pre-book process for the bigger panels.

Essentially you had to go into the APP, select the panels you were interested in, and after a lottery type process, everyone was notified which panels they could go see. No additional cost.

SO like the big Lucasfilm panel the first day, that is obviously one that had the Lottery process through the APP. Hasbro Panel, panels in the collector rooms, podcast panels, etc, those are the standard queue up before the panel to get a seat. The more popular the panel, the earlier you would want to get in line.

Last year I did not get in the Hasbro panel line early enough.

Hope this helps!

That is very helpful thank you.

I thought it would be first come first served for the Showcase and Ashoka panels meaning in the queue outside all night and then a stampede

A lottery for seat is much better. Do you know if the child tickets are also put in the lottery and what happens if a child or their adult won?

I know someone who got a Saturday ticket but now won’t be able to go. He will sell it to me but I can’t decide if the Showcase panel or the Ashoka panel would be best.

I hope they continue to go with a Lottery System for the main panels!

This is the first time I'll be giving a panel! Boba Fett's Costume History 4/7 at 12:30pm on the University Stage!

Have fun with those panels and the lottery mess, I remember when all you had to do was run, or "camp out" at the panels line area and wait! I rather enjoyed that ,esp. when going quickly though the floors and not running into anyone doing it! I'm just not into all the electronic mess and hoping to be picked for a panel by lottery, Doesn't anyone miss "the old days of lining up for events?

The price was too high on Saturday ticket from the guy I know but I got on Lyte.

I didn’t expect to get one this quickly (or at all) so I had re-examined the events and decided on Friday and/or Sunday.

Is it only the 11am Live events on Celebration Stage events that have the lottery for seats or is it all the Live Events there that are doing the lottery?
