I am organizing the collecting track for Celebration Europe and would like to get suggestions for collecting-oriented talks, activities, and panels for the event. We're especially looking for collectors from different European countries who could give presentations on collecting & collectibles in their country. If you have an idea for a topic, please shoot me an email. Thanks in advance!

There has been some call for autograph collecting panels and I'd personally like to see one on food premiums and giveaways, or maybe shelf displays etc and some of the more unusual stuff.

Industrial Light & Magic employee items.
How about all Lucas group company items (ILM, LFL, LA, SS etc)?

C4 is some poxy little event that the American fans are going to be made to suffer. I really feel sorry for them.

Are you being serious or are you joking? Is Celebration Really going to be that BIG that it is better than C4?

I'm not joking and it is likely to be. Barry, who is putting on the event, is very, very creative and is pulling out all the stops. If he gets all his ideas approved and can organise every one of the suggestions being thrown into the pot then CE will be more explosive than C4. (Get what I did there - C4, explosives? ...c'mon it was funny!)

BTW, the CE collecting track has now been officially announced on starwars.com.

Awsome, i'm prety pleased hat i didn't intend to go to C4 now. CE as well as this seperate Exibition will be expensive alone.

The only thing that worries me is the guests and that we aren't likely to get anyone 'BIG' overhere

With all the impending worldwide safety issues involved, I don't know if "C4" is a very... "safe" name for such an event's name to go by.

I've been making that joke since I heard it announced at C3. I had a whole marketing blitz planned out with exploding Death Stars in the logo, MR Thermal Detonator exclusives and other ideas I can't seem to remember in my old age.

C4: It's going to be EXPLOSIVE!!

I'll admit that I didn't come up with it myself. Jay said it at C3 when Steve let slip at the LFL wrap party that they were already planning a 30th anniversary event in the US. I think Jay's comment was something along the lines of "C4? It'll be a blast!". Such wit that guy.

What? Are my ears burning. I'm sure that any Anti-terrorism email filters are loving all the talk of C4 that's happening.

Wow, it is amazing how fast you responded to this post. It's almost as if you were tipped off.
