I'm posting in the chances that we will still are going to have a Celebration in 2020(maybe they will shift to 2021). Has anyone heard of what artists are supposed to come? I know everything is in limbo right now. I am sure these artists have to have some work already in rough draft form. It is the 40th anniversary of Empire so there should be some kick ass Hoth art coming out. Thoughts?

It would be nice to see what is available. Would these go through ACME?

A nice, diverse set of prints and there are some beautiful pieces there. The Vanderstelt, Trevas pieces are always top tier, but I really like the Russell Walks one, too.

Of this lot, I’ll probably only pick up the Cat Staggs and William O’Neill ones. (they the only ones that fit into my focus.)

Looks like something changed and Spencer Brinkerhoff's piece isn't available today. It's the only one I was looking to pick up, so hopefully it's available soon!

Grabbed the Trevas print. Can't wait to add it to the collection.

Looks like Haas Ahsoka print was 1st to sell out (in minutes) then Carlisle Yoda print.

I grabbed the JV and Tween pieces, can’t wait to add both to my collection. Was thinking about the Trevas, but decided to pass this time.

Went to order Haas and didn't stand a chance lol

Oh well

That Tween print would look amazing with some studio scaled Fighters and Imperial Shuttle, unfortunately no companies really make those anymore.

The Carlisle print is pure beauty. Cannot wait to get it framed and hung as a centerpiece of my collection.

The note's been updated to say Brinkerhoff's will be available at Celebration in 2022. What?!

Sat this out. Though Trevas is VERY tempting as in JV’s. So I’m assuming Carlisle’s sold out cause it’s pretty unique and Haas because of the Ahsoka hype right now?

It’s not just hype. Ahsoka is a popular character and Danny Haas’s Ahsoka pieces have been consistently beautiful. He seems to have pretty loyal following and his prints have formed a sort of unofficial series of Ahsoka art.

This is an amazing piece that honors the character’s entire animated legacy so with all that, it was definitely going to be gone in a flash.

I’d actually say prints like these are usually somewhat insulated from people temporarily drawn to things purely by hype. There are always going to be speculators and scalpers, but you have to be a bit more than just a passing fan - like frequenting a Star Wars collectible forum - to even know something like this limited drop is happening since they don’t really advertise it.

This, and the fact that there was an article regarding these prints dropping on StarWars.com. Not sure how much traction their website gets but I personally haven't seen a print sell out that quickly on darkink since the limited Japanese release of Matt Ferguson's Empire print earlier this year.

I know darkink sometimes gets printer/artist proofs of prints that they sell, I hope that's the case for this Ahsoka print, but I won't be holding my breathe.

Yay! Was able to pick up JV's print after all! Between his and Trevas' prints, I've got my Leia fix haha.

Hi Gang.
Just thought I would post an update on my piece. Deadlines required me to send what I had at the time but since then I was able to finalize my piece with Leia in her finished look on the actual Original painting as well as the print! Feel free to replace that top one with this!

I saw people were unfortunately pestering both Hass and Carlisle directly on social media about the prints selling out quickly and getting APs. Really in poor taste.

But Carlisle told someone that they may have new directives about what they can and can't do with APs and things like that and they didn't have any information for them outside of that.

I ordered the William O'Neill and Cat Staggs prints. Unfortunately, they were the only ones that fist my collection focus.

I picked up the Lee Koshe, "No Life Signs" print today.

I like the Malcolm Tween print, but didn't get it. It's amazing, like all of his work, but I feel like it's just too similar to (though maybe superior to) the Escape from Hoth print he did for a previous Celebration. I kind of wish he'd used Bespin or Dagobah as the subject this time.

Anyone receive their prints yet? I just realized it's been over a month and I haven't received anything yet.
