Thoughts on this figure? Who's going to be buying it?

It looks like they might have the hip articulation of the 6" BS and Marvel Legends.

I noticed that too (esp. on the Jyn and Cassian figures). I hope the hip joints actually function well (and that crease that runs along the hip/upper thigh is actually articulation and not just aesthetic)!

This Cassian figure is probably the one figure I'll be picking up multiples of: looks great for customizing and the production image looks pretty good. I guess we'll find out...when these all get dumped in Summer 2017 as WM makes room for EpVIII product...

Glad they decided to go with matching costumes on main cast instead of offering Jyn based on one location and Cassian based on another. Hate how Hasbro gave us a Starkiller base Han before a "regular" Han.

Looks good! I agree, looks potentially very useful for customizing. I can't quite tell if the jacket is molded on or a separate piece. I do prefer the older style waist articulation a bit.

Yeah, me too. Ball jointed hips are generally pointless and I vastly prefer the waist articulation to the more recent torso articulation, if only because the latter all but obliterates customizing potential.

And, unfortunately, removable jackets also seem to be a thing of the past. Which is a shame for the same reasons.

Still, this figure looks awesome and I can't wait to get one.

He seems to be wearing some cold weather clothes. I guess he's not on the tropical planet during this wardrobe rotation.

Great figure and I'm glad it's this version. I'll pick up a few extra if I can to make some other rebels out of it.

definitely looks fantastic, glad we got this version, the detail of the uniform looks very good, specially the new articulation on the legs.

We have a regular Han from TFA? I agree with you. I am glad to see they are giving us what seems to be the more common version of Cassian and Jyn. I like these more so far anyways. I'm holding off from getting anything of Cassian in the blue jacket right now. Maybe after seeing the movie I'll want it too but not right now. Love these pics though. I hope they will be readily available.

What do those horrid 5PAO figures do in a SA focused thread? :p

I'm partly with you, albeit I have to admit that judging by what I've seen from the new lineup so far, 5 POA figures got slightly better, however, only in terms of paint applications and sculpt. Nevertheless, for what we're getting the price that's charged here in Europe is still in no way justified.

Has anyone seen this guy in the wild yet? I was under the impression he was shipping with Jyn & the Death Trooper, but I guess he's not.

Him and the Stormtrooper apparently will ship later. Hope he's not cancelled. The new case assortment I believe was:

2 x Ahsoka Tano, 2 x Emperor's Royal Guard, 1 x Lando Calrissian, 1 x Admiral Ackbar, 3 x Jyn Erso, 3 x Death Trooper

That case assortment will be a life-saver providing I ever find it! I need to get a couple Royal Guards and an Ahsoka at some point. The Guards are especially important, as I'm trying to complete the modern incarnations of all the original Jedi figures. Just got the RoTS Sith Evolutions set for my Palpatine, but the RoTS carded RG wasn't gonna cut it for me.

I really like this look for Andor. Not much of a 3.75 collector anymore, but he's on my list.

The paint job/sculpt on the TBS 3.75" version of Andor is so much better than the 5 POA version that it's almost unbelievable. Really distinct difference here! That should go without saying for all of these 5 POA vs. SA figures, but for this particular one the differences really stand out.

Yep. Average €13 retail for those is just insane. What was Hasbro's plan for those again? Keep retail under $6 a pop

Forgot to actually write something. Cassian is a really nice figure. The pistol is a little odd, but works well as a part of the rifle too. I think this one will actually do alright at retail because you can make a bunch of generic rebels out of it.

thanks for these images. They look great. I don't suppose you have got any 5POA figures too? It would be great to see some comparison photos.
