I can't get over how much I like his new look! It totally looks like he could fit in with Andor characters, which TBH I wouldn't mind if he appeared in Andor! Plus with his new construction he'll make for some good custom fodder, and I'm beyond elated there's nor split torso!!!
That right there makes me so happy!

It looks to me like Cal might have a split torso, but not sure.

Yeah, the new look is more sleek and streamlined than it was in the first game. He’s five years older in the sequel. I like it!

If it is split it's in a really odd place, I don't recall ever seeing one placed so high before. It will be interesting to see larger and clearer images, it does seem almost unnoticeable so maybe there's a natural break line.

Great custom fodder, but classic training bra torso cut from Hasbro…

Don't play the game, but he's got a cool look, is potential custom fodder or at worst will make a solid background character for a dio or display at some point.

I really hope BD-1 is articulated. It's hard to tell from that blurry image, but it almost looks like its one piece

If that little L0-LA that came with Wandering Jedi is any indication that should be able to squeeze some articulation into BD. BD probably isn't far off of Grogu as far as size goes and they got some articulation into those figures.

That being said I won't be too upset if there is not any articulation as long as Cal is up to today's standards.

Never thought they'd get to this one. With so many possible outfits and sabers variants, how can Hasbro please all collectors?

This looks to be his default outfit in the trailer for Jedi: Survivor, which is a solid choice. The default outfit for either game would have been a solid choice.

Oh, right. Thought they based this on his Fallen Order appearance. Have a very limited knowledge about the game.

Sorta neat that this is the first clear look at his new costume. I'm pretty pleased with it. I didn't think a sequel would have him in his same scrapper outfit, but I also didn't expect they'd stick him in Jedi Robes either.

I hope BD-1 has legs that move and a head that pivots, but if he doesn't, I'd be ok with that. Just happy he's included.

While they didn't show the back, it's interesting that he has that harness, which i assume is for carrying BD-1. Thus I feel Hasbro will incorporate that feature in by having some kind of clip on the back where the Droid can plug onto. I realize it still fairly soon but you'd think that photo would be a requirement.

Really like this. Happy to have him. That said, I hope they give us one from the original game at some point - and include a double edged saber. I do think Cal (and BD) offers himself up for a few repaints/repacks and deluxe offers. This is one where I would consider purchasing more if the offerings were good.

How about a Build-a-Cal set with twenty assorted parts to mix and match with?
