I feel quite cockteased by them talking so long on the livestream about Kenner Fett and then transitioning to these two, without a wider Kenner Fett availability.
 
The Vintage Collection set that this mimics was a Celebration V exclusive - I bet this was the Celebration Exclusive (I'm pretty sure Reed has told everyone that Celebration has been cancelled except for the public). The Han in Carbonite was probably the SDCC Exclusive.

That's what I was thinking, make the Han an exclusive AGAIN to frustrate collectors who needed it to complete their set, just like X-Wing Luke 3 years ago.
 
Nice nod to the figures past, I can’t remember if I have both of them so I might have to grab this one.

They are only allowing 1 of each item per order...
 
I didn’t realize they are still up. I was so happy to get one of these with not having to camp out in at my computer.
 
I was able to get my set on Hasbro Pulse this afternoon.

For some reason, I have always gravitated towards these two. They were two of my favorite vintage figures in the 80s, and I've thought every version of them in modern times have been really well done. I purchased two sets of the TVC versions of these 10 years ago, one to open, one to keep packaged. I'm very content with my one set in this scale, and I'll be excited to add them to my ESB collection!
 
WTH, actually rings up as $49.99 when you add to cart, but its $39.99 on the product page!
 
Looks like Amazon has raised the price to $49.99 sometime overnight. Glad I got my two for $39.99.

It's always a gamble with them. It's why I started ordering two of everything from them last year - at least one will usually be decent enough and the other can be returned or opened for loose display.
 
I am left to wonder how the heck is this cheaper than Chewie and 3po or Luke and Yoda?
