Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet, but our friends from @YakFace suggest there is a new DLX Boba Fett coming for the Book of Boba Fett line.



Hope he comes with loads of weapon effects to justify the DLX treatment

After Cobb Vanth my hopes aren't very high. In the trailer, his armor has a few more scratches on it- so the extra paint work might be the reason for the higher price tag.

Just praying the seller I ordered my SH Figuarts Repainted Fett comes through.

No worries. I didn't have time to create a thread at the time, and then just kind of spaced it. I figured @GNT would end up splitting it off from GD into it's own thread eventually like they've been doing.

Looks like we may have confirmation that the Deluxe Boba Fett, from the BoBF, will be #02 in that sub-line, courtesy of the artwork from Fennec Shand. Credit @landspeederluke

My guess would be the Book of Boba Fett look since that's how it's branded. They could have branded Fennec "Mandalorian" but they went ahead and made a point to make the new sub-line, so it would make more sense that it's however he looks in that show.

I’ll get both, especially if this is BOBF Boba since SHF is S2 Mandalorian version.

Based on what we can make out from the Funko Pop design, it looks almost the same as his appearance in the Mandalorian except that the robes don't seem to hang in front of the legs anymore, instead it's a "kama" thing like the Snowtroopers wear. Also, his big floppy black fabric collar seems smaller. And the big difference, the "spats" that cover his shins and go down to his feet appear to be red instead of black now.

I'll have to wait til I see some nice clear, clean shots to make my decision which is cooler, but my gut is telling me the look in eps. 7 and 8 of Mandalorian were cooler. That's the post-ROTJ Boba I wanna display in my collection. Right when he finally gets his beloved armor back and gives it a good cleaning.

(I know I'll end up with every iteration in 6 inch form anymore, cause I'm a hoooer for Boba Fett merch, but the SHF is still my most anticipated as of right now cause that's just.....THE look.)

Thanks to the shopDisney site we've now got a pretty good look at the TBOBF costume, and it looks like there have been a fair few changes from the Mando S2 version.

From what I’ve seen I prefer the Mando version to BOBF. I’m not a huge fan of the red gaiters on the new one. Looks like I’ll be sticking to the SH version.

Wait, is the next Black Series Boba Fett, after the Nomad version, going to be Mando end of Season 2 version or will Hasbro jump to Book of Boba Fett version since BOBF will be out in Dec? I will admit I first assumed BOBF version was exactly the same as end of Mando Season 2 version.

I thought so too... And I had grown so fond of that outfit, to the point where I almost think I like it more than the OT outfit.

It's too many changes to a character's outfit in a short period of time. Obviously, it's done to sell toys. This has been the Star Wars modus operandi from the start.

Look at how many changes (large and small) Din Djarin has already had to his outfit and how many figures of The Mandalorian we have had. You know he is going to paint his armor at some point. More toys!

Maybe when I see him more on-screen I can make a firmer decision. I'm sure that will effect a lot of people's opinions.

I’m a sucker for black so the center design is killer for me. I think I don’t like the red boots on the new one cause they look too comic-booky. Super Boba!

Yeah I don’t like the changes at all. I like rearmored Mando look much better. I mean it’s Boba, he always looks cool. But he’s looked cooler

^ My biggest "concern" is that they make the character too brutal. for 40+ years I've always considered BF to be cool, calculating and efficient.

I actually like the big red boots. The baggy pants are a cool one-off, but it never felt very Boba to me. The red(ish) boots tie in the red gauntlets pretty well IMO.
I'm just wondering what the shells on his belt are for. Both of his guns are blasters. Mando had similar shells for the pulse rifle
