But am I seeing the website right that there’s a holiday version with interchangeable parts and then a separate non-holiday one pose version at the same price? Seems like it’s a repeat of what they did with Bad Batch.

Since they are making 2 versions, they could have made the regular version blue and the holiday version red. Red would maybe tie in better with the holiday theme, and perhaps create more sales. I personally, would buy both if that were the case.

Yeah, don't see the point otherwise.

Well Red Snaggletooth is considerably smaller than Blue, so just reusing this in red wouldn’t really work. It would need to be a different sculpt all together.

Yeah, there's two versions
They both look like the same price point, based on the screenshots above. If that's the case, and the holiday version can be interchanged to be the regular version, what's the reasoning behind both versions? Am I missing something?

I got the feeling that, once both are up for pre-order, the holiday version will stay at 120€ while the regular one will show the discount for PG members and it will be available elsewhere.

Definitely getting him. I don't plan to display the holiday add-ons at all but the price point is the same, so will probably get the holiday version just to have it.

I’m with you, deathstar! I’ll get the holiday version just so I have it if I want to use it, but I probably will only ever display the regular version.

Weird that they have two versions!

Can’t really see the point of having two versions if the holiday version can be displayed in exactly the same way and they are the same price. As others have mentioned, strange decision.

Easy decision ! Would have been cool if one of these variations included the possibility of receiving a red chase version !

I still see both.

Also it's 2 minutes in and I still don't see a preorder button... I know it's just a couple of minutes, but why isn't this automated and precise?

EDIT: There it is... ordered the holiday one.

I saw both as well and ordered the holiday version. Looks like it's PGM and the other is not.

I had no idea there were two different versions, I just clicked on the one I saw first. Looks like GG will be cancelling the regular one I ordered in error for the PG holiday version I also ordered...

so i think a real question to ask is will the regular version be removable arms? i preordered the holiday just cause well its $12 extra for interchangeable/deluxe version. but if the regular version is just a solid piece, will make one way more valuable

I would assume it’s going to be the exact same thing, without the extra parts. It would only cost more and eat into profits to have two different sets of molds for essentially the same item.
