Thanks! Yeah, I keep admiring it. They did such a nice job on the weathering. That RS helmet is beautiful.
Thanks.Everything looks great, BenObi! How much is it for a scout helmet with shipping to the east coast, if you don't mind my asking? Thank you
She looks great, Ben! Very nice shelf set up also. Congrats on this new addition to your collection.
The tallest part of the statue is the black wall behind her...out of the box the highest point is about 9 and 7/8 inches above the ground. By pulling off the rubber feet I got that down to 9 and 3/4".Well, it looks quite nice displayed next to your MR thermal Detonator and the Jabba's Slave Leia statue. Good job, man!
- Question: How much taller than a Mini Bust is she?
I'm thinking of getting one if it fits within the clearance I have between shelves for the Mini Busts.
No problem and if you decide to go for one, I hope you have luck finding it.
Bummer on the Leia statue, Julian. Sorry to hear.I measured the space between the shelves and unfortunately the statue won't fit. I'm glad you've got yours, Ben. It's a really cool pice.
Thanks Julian!Great attention to detail and weathering. Very aesthetically pleasing. It's a great addition to your ST side of the collection, Ben. Congrats!
Thanks Julian!
I have a plaque and stand in the works.
And a ton of work went into this saber. I don't know how they did that emitter opening mechanism but it's very impressive. I think I read/heard that this Rey saber has 60+ screws of varying sizes in it. A bit of an engineering marvel!Nice. That will give the final touch to your display, like MR and eFX pieces have. I really like the work fans put into these creations.

Very well said, Julian. 100% agree. It's a labor of love, a desire to build better. When the work you do is felt from the heart and an effort is made to please a community that shares your passion, only good stuff could come out of it. Of course, one has to have the proper skills to make it happen. And I think that is what fan made replicas deliver in many instances. I'm not putting down licensed products as many of them are very nice, but sometimes they do not reflect that extra "from the heart" touch and wow factor on their builds or sculpts that many fans put into theirs.
Guess there's some lens distortion going on there...the case is perfectly level IRL. The blaster does slope down a bit at the front end...that's how RS made the stand. The Scout blaster looks good in the case, Ben. Did you have the cover made higher at one side or is it the angle of the picture? Also, may I ask who made the case? I need a case made for my Greedo blaster.
Very odd. It seems to be resting correctly in the cutouts at both ends but the blaster does slope down a bit toward the front end.Nice mirror stand. BTW my RS Scout blaster is quite level. It might be also related to how you put it on the stand?

Efren Rodriguez made the case. He's on Facebook but PM me if you need his number. We communicated by text because I'm not on FB.
Yeah, I imagine he wanted the blaster in hand to make sure he was putting the supports in the right place. With my RS Scout blaster, I already had the acrylic stand so all I needed Efren to do was make an empty case. Thanks, Ben. Now that you mentioned his name, I remember contacting Efren before and he wanted me to send the blaster to him to make the case. Not that I don't trust him, but I dont trust the handling of the parcel by the post office and this is a one of a kind blaster. I will contact the same local people that made the cover for my MF and see if they can make a mirror case for me. Thanks!.
