Toyark has new pictures up of the new 6" Baze Malbus figure:

Thoughts on this figure? Who's going to be purchasing this one?

The gun looks ridiculous, and he kind of looks like a Ghostbuster, but I'm in on all these new rebel characters. I just have my fingers crossed that the weapon won't look so goofy for the final release.

Great observation! Something seemed a little bit "off" about his appearance in this image...and you put the finger on it. Not as inspired to pick him up as I am Chirrut, but I'll consider it...

I'll reserve judgement until I see him in action against the Empire with that SW mini-gun(looks like a futuristic take on Blaine's from Predator...

... Well, I'm not going to be able to un-see that for a long time.

Between the molded mane of hair, those elbow joints, backpack and cable thing I can already tell he's going to be a ***** to pose. I'm getting some serious Jorge from Halo: Reach vibes; another heavy weapons guy with an unwieldy gun and a top-heavy backpack whose action figure topples over at the slightest breath of air. I'm gutted there's no rocket launcher, too.

It's a shame, because I've been really liking the little we've seen of the character so far.

My feelings may change after seeing the movie, but all these new Rogue One human figures bore me.

Looks like 80s GI Joe or something?

Wow he looks terrific.

Was wondering how they would do the flexible amo-feed, looks great!

That backpack and gun would make a lot more sense if it was a flame thrower, they could have called him "Blaze" Malbus and it would have fit perfectly.

^LIKE

Could do both.

And LOL Blaze!:awesome:

The whole trailer, and the figures design, all seem too overdone and exaggerated. Also, so dark, compared to the OT, and these are events leading right up to Ep. IV. I just don't see it blending in well... I'll still probably watch the movie at least 5 times, unless it totally sucks, then maybe just twice.

Very nice, easy buy for me. Kinda reminds me of the funko legacy figures from the evolve game line.

I have purposely been avoiding most of the trailers, so I have no reference for any of these characters aside from the random still photo.

I have to say, I really didn't like the movie - but I loved Baze and Chirrut, so these two are no-brainers for me. Hope we get a novelization or comic of their backstory someday - I need more of them.

I did like the movie but also really liked Baze & Chirrut as 2 of the best characters. Looking forward to finding these but not happy that the other 4 figures are all repacks. We will never see the end of Cassian's & Jyn's!

Yes, thank you, bob! I don't normally preorder anything, I prefer to find stuff in stores, but I figured I might as well have some security with these two.

Glad to help out. I grossly overpaid for Revan on ebay, and paid more than I should have for the rest of that wave, as well as the Krennick wave, because I just can't get to stores as often as I used to. Amazon's hit or miss, so I had to jump on them from EE as well, rather than overpay yet again.

Epic! Thanks man. I thought about pre-ordering with dorkside toys but then they sold out. I was able to pre-order both on EE. I don't mind paying a little more to guarantee I get them. The distribution in stores lately has been horrible.

I was on Dorkside a little while ago and both Baze and Chirrut are still up for pre order last I checked.

Wow, surprised HTS had these first.

Haven't been checking because usually these are all over eBay before any site stocks them...
