Whaaaaaaaa?!?!

I remember this set being on clearance for months at Entertainment Earth then vanished. Why is it back? It was awful...

It would appear that BBTS dabbles in aftermarket type items like this. I noticed they have been selling legit graded vintage GI Joe toys, for example.

I suspect it's not actually something they received wholesale from Hasbro. Maybe they secured some at regular retail price and are marking it up as they normally would.

They're gonna be sitting on those for a very long time. EE couldn't move them at full price (which was around $45 if memory serves), which is why they got liquidated to Amazon for $25. They even got as low as $15 at one point before they finally sold out. No way in the world will BBTS move any at nearly $100. The Bartoo mold is almost universally reviled.

According to RS Archives it was $80, I think I caught it on sale for around $60 and was the only reason I bought it because they used that horrible inferior mold! IMO it's still one of the biggest travesties Hasbro done.

If they can move these for that price I commend them for taking that risk as it's likely a markup from what they paid in the first place. Probably bought pallet of them at auction lol

I never wound up buying this set either. I feel it didnt warrant the price they were asking for it.

I was just looking at this set in my garage the other day. I actually like it quite a bit since it gives us a unique character for my Barge. I’m glad I got it when I did.

Character is getting released again by Disney but with more weathering, etc.

Thanks for the heads up! I had a friend in the US order 2 of them for me. They wanted $40 to ship to Canada!
I also grabbed the Obi Wan droid 4 pack on sale for $20 so I’m excited about those. The rainbow 6 pack was tempting but not for $80.
