Amazon is weird. Ordered two yesterday, said would be here next month, arrived this morning! Nicely packed, great figure other than the backpack needing a little bit of sticky tack to stay put

arrived today, he has wonky feet, they won't stand flat... :rolleyes:

edit: after working on him a bit, they are moving a bit more freely, but still a bit off.

Your results may vary, but I found on one of the two I got putting his feet in hot water for 90 seconds gave him better flexibility for standing

Why does amazon uk insist on making this very hard to get?
Yeah amazon I am going to manage to order in the 5 minute order window you randomly put up each day.

I think maybe they haven't got their full shipment ye and so are releasing it like that.

The ebay prices from German or Austrian sellers for this figure are beyond good and evil. So I decided: I buy it for retail or pass on it.
I never thought I'd get this one for retail since I missed Amazon's initial pre-order window in early November, but about two weeks ago I haphazardly placed a pre-order. The figure was supposed to be shipped mid January, got delivered yesterday!

Just got a notice of cancellation from Amazon from an order placed in November. Crap! Back to checking Amazon several times a day. LOL

That's sucks. I got fed up waiting on my Amazon US order which I ordered in November to ship, so cancelled it and picked it up from Amazon DE and got a shipping notice for it this morning. Buying an action figure really shouldn't be this hard!

Had my Artillery Trooper cancelled on Tuesday. The same day they were stating it would "arrive by 10pm" right up until 6pm. Went to check the status at dinner and the whole order was gone from my account, wiped right out. I checked my e-mails and sure enough, cancelled due to no stock available.

But seriously...why keep telling me its still coming right up to the day, and even hours before its to be delivered? I feel more pissed off now than if they had just cancelled in November or early December.

So Amazon is up to their stupid shady **** again. Some (myself included) had their orders cancelled at the last second just 6 weeks ago, some still have their original orders from Fall outstanding. Well, Amazon looks to have sided with profits over customer loyalty and re-listed the item with a tweaked model number and a 70% price hike keeping the item in line with what their 3rd party sellers are asking instead of Hasbro's MSRP.

All they did was added a "5S0" to the model number to designate a new product and changed the ASIN/URL. They will not admit it is the same product and they will not honor any cancelled orders from a few weeks back. They are standing firm that there is no stock available in the warehouse to fulfill the original orders. :cautious:

Yeah, that is shady. And strange that their system even allows it to happen. I have an order outstanding for two of them that I placed back in November. Hope they sort this out and start fulfilling orders.

So turns out my order was cancelled today as well.

This situation is really strange. I just don’t understand how their system could allow cases of toys from Hasbro to end up for sale under a different listing in the Tools & Home Improvement section.

I'm certainly glad I ordered a "damaged" Artillery Stormtrooper back in November instead of patiently waiting for them to fulfill my preorder, just had the order cancelled too.

I've contacted Amazon's customer service and they're going to reimburse me the difference between the cancelled preorder and their new scalper price once the trooper is delivered.

Happy to hear someone got some type of resolution. I spent 35mins bounced between 3 Amazon agents and was firmly denied. I still don't think they ever really understood what I was trying to explain to them involving the issue.

Even with the promise from the previous customer service representative that I would be reimbursed the difference once it was delivered they didn't want to do it. Only after escalating the ticket to a supervisor was I given reimbursement, now let's see if it actually shows up on my account.

You would think it being listed under its product code name “SW BL Haiku” and having a Tools & Home Improvement breadcrumb link would be a sign to them that something was not right. Not to mention the price being 70% higher than MSRP and all the unfulfilled cancelled orders on the original listing!

I was able to talk to a CSR and while they would not honor my previously cancelled order, they did say that they would honor the price of the original order. Now, back in December when they cancelled my order, I complained that resellers had THEIR Amazon exclusive on THEIR site for an inflated amount, but they couldn't do anything about it because they weren't "sold and shipped" by Amazon. At the time they told me that if it were to come back in as sold and shipped by Amazon, they would honor that price. So, I had to place the order at $45.22, but they will refund me the difference once it is delivered (I have to call back).

Here is the one that arrived yesterday. Really happy with it.

Pauldron is the same mold as the original one from way back that was used on the first series Sandtrooper. It works well. Here's a comparison shot with the pauldron on another RO Stormtrooper.
