Another one down. I remember when people were clamoring for Echo and Fives in their ARC armor in 3.75 for almost a decade. Now we have both in both scales. Insane.

I guess my dream figure would be Black Series Dark Horse ARC Trooper Alpha thats preferably more accurate than the ARC Trooper Commander we got a while back... and if they could pull it off the Republic Trooper from the Old Republic (such an awesome armor design!) forgot what the guys name was from the TVC figure...

Five's helmet is accurate. It's supposed to have a fin and rangefinder.

Echo, Fives, and Jesse were the main ARCs of the Clone Wars 501st and got the most screentime. There were a handful of others that only appeared for a small amount of time like Colt, Havoc, and Blitz that appeared in the Kamino arc, and the ones from Battlefront 2.

In legends there's Alpha (who was basically proto Captain Rex) but that design is fairly different. Same for Fordo and the ARCs from the original animated Clone Wars.

I know a lot of people are pretty tired of clones and I don't blame them at this point lol

It's in the UK since the reveal was from Fanthatracks. I've edited the post to make that clear. It's unknown where/when it'll go up in the U.S. Best guess is Wal-Mart.

Thanks! I hope it's not another Walmart figure, since the other Clone Wars announced are mainlines...but who knows? Hasbro loves to create panic and confusion.

It sounded like you were asking if he had a helmet like Jesse with no fin or rangefinder- which Fives SHOULD have.

The box is using his phase 2 design- which was used in the later arcs like Umbara and the Conspiracy- where yes he lacks the fin since he's using a phase II helmet (WITH a rangefinder)

Aside from the fin the only real difference between the two is they made the blue a darker shade to fit in better with the other 501st troops.

However, it seems that in most marketing material and figure releases since these episodes they've given him his 1.5 helmet. I'm guessing that since the fin is more distinctive compared to standard phase II helmets its become a part of the updated ARC trooper armor. This is probably why BF2 ARCs still use 1.5 helmets too.


Also his 1.5 helmet matches Echo's so I'm more than happy they used it because they match.

So yeah its innacurate to the box art but not to the actual design. Makes me wonder why they even used that "finless" art to begin with....

They also have the Magna Guard and Phase 2 Clone. Think I'll get those elsewhere though as I don't completely trust Walmart, plus I don't think you can do a part cancellation.

It's all good. His most important episodes (the Umbara arc and the Conspiracy arc) he's using the updated helmet without the fin.

It's basically his time with Echo when he has the fin- which is why I appreciate it on this figure.

How did you pay? Did you pay with a gift card or maybe PayPal?

I'm thinking the cancelations affected those who prepaid in some manner (didn't use credit cards) and, for whatever reason, Walmart wasn't able to authorize the payment a second time.

Walmart's online store is surprisingly primitive for such a major company. They should absolutely have better ways of dealing with an issue like this that doesn't negatively affect their customers.

I used PayPal. I pre-paid and I'm getting a refund in the next few days (although if it became available after they cancelled my order, why didn't it just automatically reorder it?)

Ugh I'm so mad right now. Walmart is gonna have to do something pretty amazing for me to attempt to buy an exclusive from them again.

I swear if it wasn't the fact it was Fives...
